The novel opens with Caroline reflecting on her tumultuous past with Dallas, a man who not only set her entrepreneurial spirit ablaze but also left her heart in tatters a decade ago. Their initial relationship is painted with vibrant strokes, showcasing their contrasting personalities—Caroline's fiery disposition balanced against Dallas's dominant and confident demeanor. This dynamic sets the stage for a relationship that is as tumultuous as it is passionate, and Rosslet expertly weaves the threads of their history into the present, highlighting the unresolved tension that lingers between them. As Caroline's startup faces a desperate crisis, the return of Dallas becomes unavoidable. The journey to Argentina, where the pivotal deal unfolds, serves as a catalyst for the rekindling of their chemistry. Rosslet's writing shines in these moments, where the tension between the characters is palpable, and the reader can feel the electric connection that draws them together. The dialogue is sharp and witty, allowing the characters to express their ambitions and vulnerabilities with authenticity. This interplay not only advances the plot but also deepens the emotional stakes, making the reader invested in their outcome. Moreover, the exploration of themes such as ambition, trust, and the complexities of love is deftly handled throughout the novel. A big thank you to NetGalley and Free Form Productions for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is the finale and 3rd in a series. It reads well as a stand alone. I found the romantic relationship a bit odd but it is an enjoyable read. I loved the friendship between Flynn, June and Vandana. 3.5 stars

I received a copy from the author and this is my honest review
Everything about this story is written really well. It has everything… romance.. mystery.. adventure.. characters to feel close to… loved it!.
Addictive, complex, and nicely spiced - preoccupation and obsession, for business and emotion, drive finance professionals at the top of their game, forsaking all else - until everything starts to unravel, feelings emerge, and nothing turns out as expected. A fun ride, more substance than the usual semi-dark romance, and definitely for adults.
