This book gave me everything I wanted . If you like macabre this book is for you. I learned a lot of new words that I have never heard before. Perfect gift book.

I loved this. I loved the art, I did enjoy the charming morbidity of it. I also liked that it gave definitions of the words, and showed how to pronounce them. This is a book I would love to own.

M is for Macabre indeed! This is a cute little book for all the cool morbid kiddos out there. Would be perfect for my little 5 year old weirdo. I even learned a couple new words myself.

I enjoyed this book, but my students are too young, and will not see the humor in the illustrations. Learned some new vocabulary, so it was a great read for me!

Thank you Netgalley for the advance reader copy of The Morbid Alphabet Book by Gabrielle Ferrara in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book. I wish I had had it when I was a kid and can't wait to show it to the youngsters in my life.

First of all thank you so much to the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read this beautiful Morbid Alphabet Book. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK. I wish I had this book when I was growing up. I have always been fascinated in the morbid. There were even some words in the book I had never known of. So even adults can learn from this Alphabet book. Love love love it. I don’t know why this one isn’t more popular yet.

Not a kid's alphabet book, but a fun and somewhat disturbing alphabet book. Mind you, I liked it, and learned some new words, which I likely will never use, but the book is morbid and diverting and nicely done and fun and enjoyable. But it IS morbid. Was this the alphabet book that Edgar Allen Poe was weaned on?

I just received permissIon to pre screen this book. I mainly chose it as I was drawn to the cover; I’m a funeral industry graduate, married to a retired director, and sis to another. All there’re of us can’t wait for it to be released because we already have several people picked to received it as a gift. Not overly dark or morbid, but does explain some of the darker aspects in a simple but not frightening way. I (as well as others in the field) wish death wasn’t such a off limits topic, and more books were available (that aren’t as outdated)

A really cute gothic little alphabet love perfect for any fan of macabre! This is the perfect little book for learning about the alphabet and the macabre. It's got cute illustrations and a really fun usage of the alphabet. I definitely think it's a cute book for any gothic kid out there!
*Thanks Netgalley and Uniquely Morbid for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review*

This book is very informative for those with the morbid curiosity, would this book be suitable for every family no, but those that are more open or need a way to describe some of the topics with their littles I think this would be a great book. I like that not only does it go through the alphabet it gives a word then the dictionary explanation of the word along with the pronunciation. Not every child’s book needs to be rainbows and sunshine

As a huge Edward Gorey fan, I was excited to see this book was available on NetGalley. I wasn't disappointed! This book is a lot of fun, and I even learned some words I never knew. This would be a fantastic gift for friends with a dark sense of humor. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

A cute(?) little book in the vein of Gorey's "The Gashlycrumb Tinies," though missing some of the dark humor of the Gorey book. Some interesting words, to be sure, but some don't feel like they fit with the others. For instance, Apothecary, Larvae, and Obscurity aren't precisely "morbid" and feel like they were thrown in because there wasn't another word available. Overall, it's a cute book, though I would recommend Gorey's version over this one.
