I love a rivals story especially with the perfect amount of hotttness. This has very much “Romeo and Juliet” vibes and I am here for it. Watching these rivals and their families intertwine throughout this plot was a page turner. Throughout this entire story, Rowan is keeping a secret and how will Cooper react…read and find out.

I am really looking forward to book 3!

Marni Mann...does she know how to write a great story. You have the drama, the spice, the heat... will always recommend her books!

The second installment in this series and it is H-O-T! Cooper and Rowan are snowbound in Banff and meet in the hotel bar when the airport is closed down and they find out there is only one room left. Hmmm...share a room, yes, please! Three days spent mostly naked until they are able to get out and really do not know who each other are. What happens when reality comes calling and they find out they are actually on opposite sides and actually nemesis and business rivals? This series is stacking up to be another hit!

Cooper meets his match in Rowen! These 2 seemingly strangers get stranded together and have an unforgettable time together... except they're not total strangers!! A modern *steamy* twist on a Romeo and Juliet/forbidden romance trope as these business rivals become partners and have to work together to be successful. Add in some big personality siblings and I'm ALL IN! Love the cameos from a few faves from the Dalton's series!!

I got the Audiobook to this and my goodness!!! It was so good! I dreaded anytime I had to pause or stop listening 😭

Coopers character development was amazing! You see him go from playboy/grump to an incredible and doting man by the end!

Rowan is a badass FMC! I loved her take no shit attitude from the get go. She is loyal and fierce but also very open minded and independent!

I 100% recommend this book to the lovers of enemies to lovers!

This is an insta lust turned enemies to lovers and throw in almost forbidden love and it was an easy read. The narrations were great and I enjoyed the story for the most part. I personally wish there would’ve been deeper conflict to resolve. Not exactly a 3rd act break up, but things just felt too smooth. Conflicts that were there felt like they were solved too peacefully. Maybe I just prefer the drama.

I enjoy every single Marni book published, with "The Rebel" being no different! Marni writes in a way that whoever is narrating it- in this case J.F. Harding and C. J. Bloom- instantly bring the story (along with the sizzling passion) to life! Listeners got the "gruffness" that is Cooper and the "omg, daddy I love him" vibes from Rowan pretty quickly. If you're looking for a spicy binge listen while going about your day, pick up the Rebel wherever you may listen to your audios!

I LOVED this book so much! I am absolutely obsessed with grumpy Brady Spade. I loved Lily so much - she was perfect for him. Like all of Marni’s billionaire books, this one was spicy. This one also had some suspense elements which I ate up. I could not put this one down! If you liked the dalton brothers or the other spade hotel books, you’ll love this one. If you’re a spicy romance fan, pick this up asap

Cooper Spade definitely fits the hot billionaire trope and Rowan Cole is the fiery passionate lovers to enemies to lovers. The combination creates a tension filled spicy romance that keeps you glued to the pages. After enjoying together while trapped in a chance meeting in a snowstorm they find out that their families are at war in business. There's angst, there's chemistry, and there's a surprise that comes later. It was so nice to see them work out their differences and use all that heat to make their relationship work instead of tear it apart.

Rowan and Cooper are stranded in a hotel on Lake Louise they are both there to do work for the family company. But neither of them know who the other is. Cooper wasn't planning on staying but with a storm he was forced to stay on the island. They have a instant connection an and have three unforgettable nights together.

When they return home, they realize their romance is forbidden. They work for competing companies where the family hate each. The children just know to hate them not why.

When they are forced to join forces in each company they don't handle it well and its a fight. But Cooper and Rowan can't stay away from each other and continue the romance in secret.

This was an okay story it is a slight Romeo and Juliet retelling. I feel like the conflict between the 2 characters and some of the choices they made wasn't for me. I've read a few books from this author and they are quick read. So if you looking for a quick romance to get you back into a reading swing give this book a read.

CJ Bloom is a fantastic narrator. Loved this audiobook.
Cooper and Rowan are a great match. The set up for them is a delight. The story delivers emotion and sex appeal in perfect measure. Where I struggled a bit with book 1, book 2 has made me a believer. I can’t wait for the next installment in Spade Hotel.

What a beautiful spicy romance story with great storyline and great characters. Really liked the writing style and the cover is beautiful will definitely read more from this author.

Love the stories Marni weaves. This book was a page turner. The characters Cooper Spade and Rowan Cole had depth, pull you into the story and make you anguish with them as they hurt and soar with them when they come together. This book took you for a ride and as part 2 in a series did an excellent job of making sure the reader understood situations covered in the first book. I am looking forward to the next book and am finding other books written by Marni.

This one was fun in that billionaire way that is easy to digest and dream lol

The narrators were great and again, this book was a great way to escape. Written in a lighthearted way, this book was some plot and mostly smut. A good time though.

Another Spade man bites the dust...aka is off the market.

Cooper Spade is focused and determined to make his mark on Spade Hotels. He has his eyes set on a beautiful property on Lake Louise in order to make that happen, he never could have imagined being snowed in and stuck in Canada. And what comes with being snowed in? Her. Rowan.

Rowan is adjusting to working for the family business, she's on a trip to Lake Louise when she spots him...Cooper Spade. What transpires is three nights of absolute desire and pleasure. But that's all it can be...those three nights.

I absolutely adore that when I dive into a Marni book I'm met with spice...before 20%, hello yes please. I also love the way she structures the stories to have turmoil/uneasiness earlier in the book compared to the usual third act break-up.

I had a moment of panic when Cooper was a grade A a$$hole and I thought "oh no...a Marni Mann man I'm not head over in heels with." But he ended up redeeming himself and then some. The behavior was based on instinct and he was ultimately scared and didn't know how to deal with those feelings. Rowan to the rescue with her boss b!tch attitude and no f's given.

Do we need to rename the series now Marni...watching/waiting for some Cole men...?

CJ Bloom and JF Harding did a stellar job with this dual narration... I'll fight anyone who tells me CJ Bloom's man's voice isn't swoon worthy! And the way they just hit all the emotions, loved it

It drew me in right from the start and I flew through listening to it so fast! The characters were unique and interesting and showed great development throughout the story. The narrators were great and did and excellent job of portraying the emotions and tone of the story. I am fairly new to listening to audiobooks and I was impressed by how easily this story kept my attention. This is definitely one to listen to!
