When a snowstorm trapped Cooper Spade in a hotel in Banff, he couldn’t have foreseen how his life would turn out. Drinking in the bar he encountered a beautiful woman, Rowan and thought they might as well make the most of things. It was only supposed to last the storm, but the cocky player fell hard and fast for his mysterious girl, so he gave her his number and hoped she’d call him, but something held her back. She’d known who he was all along but before she can tell him he’s been sleeping with the enemy he finds out in a dramatic fashion.
I love a steamy romance where the hero and heroine are equals in every way and Rowan was a perfect match for Cooper. She was just as powerful as him in the boardroom and countered his disdain for her ideas with facts almost like she was schooling a naughty schoolboy. Even when he was at his most cutting, she met each of his barbs with her boss lady demeanour and turned things back on him. There was so much sizzling passion and chemistry between this pair I almost blushed at some parts and swear I felt my ears burn as I listened to their encounters. Cooper had wanted her, but Rowan was hesitant because he didn’t know her name, now suddenly he can’t be with her. He couldn’t betray his family while Rowan decides that now their identities are out in the open, all the obstacles to them being together were gone. Honestly, I almost had whiplash at this point so quick was the role reversal. I did enjoy the fabulous relationship development though and if that wasn’t enough, playing out along with the steam there was an epilogue that will tug your heartstrings. I know it had me sitting at the traffic lights in tears as I listened.
Narration for The Rebel was provided by JF Harding and CJ Bloom. While CJ was a narrator I’m familiar with, JF Harding was new to me but like CJ, I found he could easily alternate between voicing the male and female roles and still sound believable doing so. Together they brought all the heat and passion of Cooper and Rowan to life, their performances keeping me on edge throughout my listen.

Can it be enemies to lovers when one of the characters has no idea that they’re having a one night stand (that turns into three nights) with the enemy? When Cooper and Rowan are stranded during a snow storm in Canada, they spend three glorious nights together. Cooper is hoping for more when they part ways, but Rowan knows that is never going to be a possibility. Luck is on Cooper’s side when they run into each other in a liquor store and he gets his more. When he learns who Rowan actually is though, the table’s turned and Cooper proved to be extremely stubborn and pig-headed, Rowan though, was persistent. I loved that when they decided to go all in, they went all in, so very romantic. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot and passionate. Cooper is a a real dirty talking alpha, I loved that about him. They also didn’t let the feud between the families affect them. In and amongst all the sexy time and family drama, there’s a few emotional moments that pulled at my heart strings. The audio was narrated by JF Harding and CJ Bloom and I loved every minute of it, they were the perfect Cooper and Rowan. I received an advanced copy of this audio book from the publisher via NetGalley.

Man this book was steamy!! But it also had a great story line too! The narrators did an excellent job!
I love how Rowan and Cooper meet! And the. I love how it all plays out once they figure out who each other are. It’s not necessarily enemies to lovers but it has vibes. They have some great chemistry and brought the dirty talk.
I love how the story flowed and the depth that was brought with it. Definitely pulled on my heartstrings. And then that epilogue 🥹 absolutely beautiful.

This one was rough. It relied completely on carnal attraction and had little storyline for much of the first part of the book so it was hard to get through. The dialog was not believable and so the story was hard to engage in.

I finished this book and can't wait for others! It was very good. If you are looking for a rivals turn lovers book then this one is for you.

This book had it all, spice, one bed, forbidden love and a lot of heart. Rowan and Cooper weren't supposed to like one another, but when they meet it is instant fire. Their families are enemies so this can't go further than this weekend at this hotel, but when a wrench is thrown in and their companies just merged, they have to figure out if the fight is worth it.
Spoiler alert, there is a lot of spice from the get go and it doesn't stop because these two are combustable. Rowan doesn't have one night stands and Cooper isn't sure he can let go after their time together becauase he can't stop thinking about her and fighting his feelings really isn't working. Especially not when Rowan lays everything out on the table, twice. He can't let her go and he's going to have to fight for what they have.
Fight he does, with his family and with hers. They aren't happy about any of the developments but sometimes love is stronger than anything else that comes at you.
I loved these two and how much they loved one another and knew their connection was something they couldn't let go. It felt Romeo and Juliet like.
Thanks to Dreamscape, Netgalley and Marni Mann for a copy.

The audio was amazing. Each one of the series this author writes, the men just keep getting hotter. Cooper Spade goes to CA to get some land for his company. He runs into a lady in the bar that he is snowed in at and they have three unforgettable nights together. Rowan knows who he is, also Cooper introduces himself with his full name. There is a lot of mystery on Rowan side until they both get back to LA. This book has you on the edge of your seat and wondering how all seven people will play night together. You should definitely check this out. I didn’t see the twist the author brought to this story at all.

When it comes to billionaire romance Marni is always one of my go to for recommendations. You know your going to get two stand out characters who each have strong personalities and some super super hot scenes that you might just need to read while you’re alone.
Cooper and Rowan are stuck together for 72 hours and the fire between them not only burns it scorches! These two will make you melt. But when they return to LA and run into each other again, they become instant enemies. Their interactions had me reeling and so ready for more.
I always love the family dynamic and connection Marni brings together in her series. Here in the Spade Hotel series we have Cooper who is in business with his brothers so we get to look forward to meeting their other brothers and eagerly awaiting for their stories to come.

I loved this beautiful, touching, heartfelt, and sizzling romance! Cooper Spade and Rowan Cole meet when they are checking out a new hotel spot in Lake Louise, Canada. They get snowed in but the heat between them is sizzling hot! They spend a couple days together before going their separate ways. When they are back in LA, they can't forget the amazing time they spent together. Suddenly, they discover that their fathers have merge their companies, and now Cooper and Rowan are business partners. They have always been raised to believe that their families were enemies, but never knew why. Now they are expected to blend their businesses and get along. Cooper and Rowan fight their attraction but are unable to stay away from each other. They fall hard for each other, but their families aren't so excepting. Will they be able to change their families opinions and bring them together to run a successful business, or will they have to choose sides breaking their hearts? I loved this lovers-to-enemies-to lovers romance, and I loved Cooper and Rowan together. With Cooper's swoony commanding presence, understanding, and unwavering support, and Rowan's courage, confidence, and unconditional love, along with their explosive chemistry that leaps right off the page, they are just so perfect together! This is a beautifully written love story with deep heartfelt emotion, rich, honest characters and hot, sizzling love scenes.
JF Harding and CJ Bloom's narration was so captivating! Harding's smooth, deep voice, and perfect inflections made Cooper come alive and made me swoon! Bloom's gripping delivery compelled me to feel everything these characters think and experience. Both narrators embodied these characters perfectly making my heart race from beginning to end.

Oh man. Oh man. MARNI. Got me in so many emotions. This is like the first hero from Marni that I've read and was pissed at. 😂 I'm like COOPER!!!! At one point, I was literally like... Rowan, Forget him. Lol go with another guy to make him jealous. 🤣 But when he gave in, I forgive him IMMEDIATELY. That was how much I love him too. Lol
Cooper and Rowan are family rivals. They own some of the biggest and well-known hotels. The day Cooper met Rowan in the hotel bar, he didn't know who she was. But she knew exactly who he was. She couldn't help it and fall into bed with him. After their one night together, Cooper feels as if Rowan ghosted him. She didn't contact him at all. Cooper was confused until he saw her in the family business meeting where the two biggest rivals are going to merge together.
I was not expecting that merger and was so excited how Cooper and Rowan were going to work it out.
I also listened to the audiobook. Thanks to Dreamscape Media. J.F. and CJ Bloom did such an amazing Cooper and Rowan.
GO. PICK. THIS. ONE. UP!!!

Perfect steamy romance to listen to on a cold night. It is the second in a series, and I enjoyed the story just like the previous one. It is fun, with great family dynamics, mixed with spice and emotional tears. Since this was an audiobook, I have to say that J. F. Harding and C.J. Bloom did a perfect job in narrating and I love to listen to their narration. Thanks to the author, #dreamscapemedia, and #NetGalley for the audio ARC.

OMG! Every time I visit this family I fall harder in love with them. It started with the Dalton group and now is continuing with the Slade's and Cole's. I can't wait for more, more, more! The audiobooks really bring the stories to life with the dual narration. The narrators are able to capture the attitudes, emotions and personalities of the well written characters and bring them just a bit more to life than the author already has done on paper. The plots are well crafted and quite interesting to bring hours of entertainment and spice to your life. While you could listen to this book and enjoy it without the background info from previous books, you would be foolish to pass up the hours of entertainment that is simply waiting for you to download and enjoy whether you enjoy reading the book or listening, this author and the series are so very worth it!

The Rebel is another scorching hot romance by Marni Mann. Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes, and this one even has a surprise pregnancy to make it that much better! The chemistry between Cooper and Rowan is what we’ve come to expect - spicy and off the charts, but their love is sweet and tender as well. It’s a quick, easy, brainless read (or listen) perfect for when you need to escape reality for a bit.

Super spicy! I loved the forced proximity and the chemistry between Cooper and Rowan was off the charts. It wasn't just hot, but the story had some meat behind it - work vs. play and the importance of self along the way. I can't wait for others in the series!

This is a second in a series that follows brothers in a family business. This is Coopers book. I didn’t get to read book 1 yet, but this can work as a stand alone. I loved Cooper and Rowan and the fact that it was a spicy fast burn with a couple not so young as they are in their late twenties. The spice was 🔥 this is dual narrated and both narrators did a fantastic job! #billionaireromance #audiobook #netgalley #arcreader #spicyromance #booksabout brothers

For me, this was a hard story to get into. It seemed as if it were going to be a one nightstand, so there was no real connection, and suddenly it turned into three days and they fell for each other but it was just sex. So it was hard for me to see the connection between the characters because we didn't really know them.
However we did get to know them through out the book and I loved that the underlying message was family and thought it was beautiful watching our grumpy mmc turn into this sweet, nurturing man while we got to see the mfc risk it all and soften in the process as she found herself. The second half of this book really won me over! Also, love a dual point of view and loved that this book centered on her pleasure.

So many good tropes in this story: billionaire romance, forced proximity, rivals, one bed, enemies to lovers 😍 Cooper is in Banff looking at land for a potential hotel project when he meets Rowan at the hotel bar. He doesn’t know who she is, but she knows who he is. When they hit it off and they realize that there is not other hotel room for Cooper and that both of their planes are grounded till after Christmas due to weather, they decide to share a room and bed. They spend the next three days in the sheets and when they both return to LA, Cooper is confused as to why Rowan hasn’t reached out to him…that is until he learns that his families business is merging with the enemies and Rowan is one of them. Will they be able to work together or will their connection get the best of them?
I loved Rowan and Cooper so much. Rowan is the definition of a girl boss and had no problems putting Coopers family in their place. I love the hotel aspect in this series and all the Spade’s are 😍🔥There is so much spice but also family love that makes this book one of my favorites by Marni Mann.

Rowan Cole and Cooper Spades come from feuding families, destined to be enemies. However, fate has other plans when they find themselves stranded together for three unforgettable nights. Little did they know that their paths would cross again as they are forced to confront their complicated family histories. As tensions mount, they must navigate the merging of their families, a task easier said than done.
✨Thoughts✨
The initial spark of chemistry between Rowan and Cooper ignites a steamy romance that neither of them expected. Despite the disapproval of those around them, they begin to explore the depth of their connection beyond their family feud. With well-developed characters and a fresh take on the rivals-to-lovers trope, this audiobook, narrated by the talented duo of C.J. Bloom and J.F. Harding, is a great listen that will keep you hooked until the very end.
Special thanks to Dreamscape Media and Netgalley for providing this audio copy.

Marni Mann never fails to bring an amazing story, and listening to it on audio made it even better! The plot was well written, and I loved Cooper and Rowan's rollercoaster relationship. C.J. Bloom and J.F. Harding did an amazing job, as always!
