This book was amazing! It was nice to see the change in genre for the author, very well executed. This book was suspenseful, emotional, and the twists and turns kept me on the edge of my seat! What a great read!

Well-paced, suspenseful and enjoyable, One of those books you pick up and just read for the wild ride. A few pregnant pauses, and a couple of improbable events. But overall enjoyed.

The Unraveling is the perfect title for this one. The FMC definitely spent the whole of the book unraveling. I thought this was short and thrilling and twisty and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I need to get my hands on more of Keeland's work. 4 solid stars.

OBSESSED. This was one of my favorite books of last year. It’s a twisty story with stalking and obsession. 10/10!!

Wow. Just wow. The book was a decent thriller, engaging, twisty, but not spectacular until the end. THE END. Oh my goodness…I did not see that coming and it bumped this from a 4 star read to a 4.5/5 star read!

I really enjoyed this one! I liked the suspense, the twists and turns, and the added romance. It had me second guessing throughout and left me a little speechless! I was not disappointed!

Meredith is a NYC psychiatrist who ends up having a patient walk into her office that she has ties to that he seems unaware of. She knows treating him crosses all sorts of lines but she can't seem to turn him away. Thus begins the twisty cat and mouse psychological thriller. A literary thriller this is not but it is one that I flew through and could not put down. An additive story great for funs of the series/show You.

The moment I learned that Vi Keeland was stepping into the realm of psychological thrillers, I couldn't contain my excitement. With a reputation built on captivating romance, I was eager to see how she would tackle a completely different genre. After finishing this thrilling ride, I can affirm that my anticipation was well-founded! This book is a rollercoaster of suspense and intrigue, filled with twists that will leave you breathless.

Embarking on this journey without prior knowledge is definitely the way to go, as the surprises unfold in delightful ways. It’s important to note that whilst it fits within the psychological thriller category, it leans significantly into romantic suspense territory. Although it’s not strictly a romance, the presence of steamy moments adds a familiar flavor that fans of her work – like myself – will appreciate. This marks her bold entry into the world of thrillers, and I am eagerly awaiting what she has in store next. With a gripping plot and an engaging style, this debut thriller certainly sets a high bar for future stories in this new direction.

Woah! That ending!! This book was great, full if Suspense and emotion. I was drawn in directly from the start and as a counselor myself I struggled along with Meridith and her ethical decisions.

Ok I am going to preface this by saying I love pretty much ALL of the Vi Keeland romantic fiction books. I was BEYOND excited to get the ARC for this book. While her intro into the thriller/erotic thriller genre was interesting, and definitely unpredictable I think that in and of itself was the issue. The narrator was completely unreliable (again totally expected in the genre) but also really unlikable. I just didn't want to root for her at all. I didn't love pretty much anyone in this story, and therefore wasn't fully invested. The ending while surprising wasn't like life affirmingly crazy.

Holy cow, this story was truly one that kept you on the edge of your seat. I seriously did not know how to feel throughout this story and the fact that Meredith crossed so many lines made me feel so uneasy but you could not stop reading what would happen next. This story of obsession and tragedy. Be prepared to go into this story will make you leave the world because you will not want to put it down.

I loved this book from an author who is extremely talented at writing romance titles as well. This book kept you thinking and guessing.

Very entertaining, fast paced thriller that kept me guessing. I loved the set up of the story from the beginning, you are left unsure if the MC is an unreliable narrator. I really enjoyed the stalking trope in this book and will definitely read more from this author.

I already knew I loved Vi's romance novels. Now to have her taking on a psychological thriller?! Yes please. This book was amazing. I loved the story. The twists and turns kept me flipping the pages needing more. I really don't want to say too much because I feel you need to go in blind and be blown away. I really hope this isn't out last thriller from Vi!

This one i had such high hopes for and it just missed the mark for me. I may have needed to be in a better head space for this, or maybe it just wasn't for me at all, who knows but I do know some loved this one - maybe I'd give it ago later on down the road.

This was one of the best psychological thrillers i have read to date. As soon as i finished reading this i looked to see what else this author had written and was shocked to see that normally she writes ROMANCE?!?! say WHAT?!?! PLEASE WRITE MORE THRILLERS!!! this gave me Freida McFadden vibes because i was left with my mouth open yelling WHAT THE HECK so many times throughout this book. so creepy but so insanely genius. i loved this one from start to finish.
