This is really colossal. As someone who gathers information on various themes and puts together books for their loved ones, I appreciate that someone (the editors, authors) have gone through the trouble (fun) to gather all this information.
The design is simple and may look odd though it resembles - old encyclopedias, ancient texts/scrolls.
I have not read it all over but this can be read cover to cover or by just opening a random page. Most of the facts are great conversation starters with your kids and great for imagination.

This was a fun read, and oftentimes very educational, but not really the sort of book you would read cover to cover as it's more of an entertaining reference book. I skipped through this book and mostly read from the topics that interested me. There's something in here for everybody and, if you can remember it all, you'll probably be ready to answer some of the questions you'll see on Jeopardy.

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this awesome book of interesting facts! I have learned so much about everything. It is broken up into 12 sections. If you like facts this is the book for you. Any age would like this book. I would recommend this for anyone. I had shared a few with my kids and we had to do some more research. It is a great way to get your kids to wonder why.

My 5th grader and I enjoyed reading this one together and finding out so many neat things that we hadn't known before. If you're looking for an entertaining read, look no further than this one!

There were so many bits of information I had never known before and I can guarantee you will learn something new! The book has an easy to follow format with sections and it's fun and informative

This book was an uncategorized list of random facts with no organization, illustrations, or elaboration. Some of the facts are interesting, but the reading experience was otherwise unpleasant. Could have been put together cheaply with AI for all I know. I was really hoping this would be The Book of Lists substitute I’ve sought for decades. Missed opportunity for trivia lovers.

Currently, the digital copy is a bit wonky. I'm sure this will be corrected for the final version. That said, I really enjoyed this book. All the facts were interesting many, many weren't known to me before this. I'm an adult, but I think teens would also really enjoy this. The pieces of info are in short little bits, so it would keep someone turning the pages. This would also make a good gift.

This book was Super fun, I loved the facts. Great for dinner with the family conversations. We had a conversation piece for entire meals.

A packed compendium of facts across several categories that could be used for party games, trivia challenges, and plenty more. Some facts may not stand the test of time, but there is enough to entertain plenty until they become outdated. Looking to stump someone with two truths and a lie? This book is your best friend. Clear layout, handy table of contents, and cute illustrations make it easy on the eyes, but the lists of facts for each section are quite exhaustive. All references given are online, but seem to mostly be from reputable sources. Fun book for the coffee table.

I collect trivia and facts like they're coins - so I was utterly excited to come across The Colossal Book of Incredible Facts for Curious Minds. The format appeals to all age groups - kids thru grown up kids ;)
It's in easy to follow sections and if the unknown little minutia that most other overlook - tickles your fancy - THIS absolutely is the book for you!! The Natural World, Entertainment & Food and Drink and my favorite sections - especially loved the Bee facts and the tidbits about coffee!! A great reading to be entertained ! The title is well found, as it is effectively a colossal compilation of facts, some are quite known, others absolutely surprising. It is possible to navigate through the center of interests, and it is passionating.

I did enjoy this book, very interesting entries,it was a very quick and fun read. I would recommend this as a bathroom book or a book to just pass the time.

Unfortunately, the book downloaded in a truly dreadful fashion - pages combining with each other made the book very difficult to read. Whilst this reflects badly on the book, perhaps a readable download would let me give this a hgher rating than 1 star!

Very fun to read. Read a couple of facts every day. Some are really surprising. Recommend!
Also loved that it was split up in for example science, history or sport. That way it stayed interesting.

Oh, I love this book! I was so engrossed, I didn't even realize I had been reading it for a good solid hour. Maybe it's the millennial in me who depended on encarta and textbooks for research because seriously, I just had to validate most entries with my own research (of course, now it's google and wikipedia). That just made it more fun and interesting. This would make a good addition to any library. Highly recommend!

This is such a fun book to go through with my ever-inquisitive children. They've enjoyed all the fun facts and pictures inside the book!
