I love facts.
I love learning them.
I love sharing them with others.
I love having more knowledge and especially love ingesting it from books.
Needless to say, I have really enjoyed The Colossal Book of Incredible Facts for Curious Minds.
It's a fantastic book full of information you may already know, but mostly, it has some unique facts that you can wow your friends with, win a quiz with, and just enjoy sharing around the family dinner table.
A fun read for all ages.

This book is a great book of facts for those of us who like random facts. This book is a lot of fun.

Although based on the cover this book promised a captivating journey through incredible facts for young minds, the experience fell short of my expectations.
While the content itself was extensive and somewhat intriguing, the lack of visual aids and repetitive writing made it difficult to stay engaged for extended periods.
It’s a commendable compilation of interesting information, but the presentation could use more variety to hold the reader’s attention.
Thankyou to Octopus Publishing imprint Cassell and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this book.

Explanations to everyday subjects, at one time or another that had crossed my mind, were provided. These subjects, some curious others humorous, were divided into many categories from which to choose. While reading through, I found myself thinking, "hmm, I didn't know that."

I would of given this book give stars but over half of the book was unreadable due to the following reasons.
Firstly I had many random blank pages then I have many pages with Just the odd word of sentence on but the worst part which made most of the book unreadable was the disjointed sentences and paragraphs which were unrelated to another making reading impossible plus the random statement numbers were random thrown into a paragraph.
The statements I could read were interesting and fun but just wish the whole book was like that. I did enjoy the wide range of topics and feels there's something for everyone.
Thanks to net galley for allowing me to review this book.

Thank you to both #NetGalley and Octopus Publishing US/Cassell for providing me a copy of Nigel Henbest et al.’s #trivia tome, The Colossal Book of Incredible Facts for Curious Minds, in exchange for an honest review.
#TheColossalBookofIncredibleFactsforCuriousMinds is the perfect conversation piece for your #coffeetable and can be used as a random #referenceguide. It would also make a great, infinite scrolling blog. Additionally, it could be condensed into a desk calendar for a fact or ten per day, and serve as a fun stocking stuffer for the holidays.

I enjoyed this book. The facts are well-written and concise and cover a vast array of topics. My favourite topics were in the first part of the book, including nature, science, and the human body. But to me, the real test was how fascinating the facts were in topics I was generally not as interested in such as the arts and sports. And indeed these facts were also quite interesting. The only facts that didn’t catch my attention were those for sports where I had no background such as cricket and rugby. Thank you to Netgalley and Cassell for the advance reader copy.

I really enjoy this book. As someone who is looking for ways to reduce their screen time in the evening, this book has become a go-to for me. I appreciate the categories in which the book is broken out and found myself learning all sorts of new facts. I will say that in the Kindle copy, some of the formatting was messed up and I had to skip some sections. Beyond that I really enjoyed this and think it is a great book for all ages.

It's easy to collect a bunch of random facts, but this book collects many interesting facts. Everything here is worth knowing, and there is such a variety. This book is so much fun for anyone curious; grownups can enjoy it too. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this.

In an after school program of 4th, 5th and 6th graders, this is ALWAYS the first book checked out and the most shared. Anytime you can get a child to voluntarily read, it's a good day. This group of authors should be commended but all I can give them is 5 stars. Please write another book.

The Colossal Book of Incredible Facts for Curious Minds is for those interested in a wide range of strange facts, a trivia collection that takes in science, animals, nature, and more, that is for dipping into every now and then, it does not really lend itself to reading from cover to cover. Whilst the galley had some issues, here are some facts that caught my attention. On Neptune it rains diamonds, sadly armadillos can get leprosy, beware that rattlesnakes can bite, even when apparently dead, horses are unable to vomit, and cows have 'besties' that help with stress. White rhinos pass messages to one another in their poo, giraffes have precisely the same number of neck bones as we humans do and I wish I had been there when a giant rabbit saved the life of his diabetic owner after he passed out, it jumped on his chest and started thumping! Can recommend this for filling in hours with an array of interesting facts. Many thanks to the publisher for an ARC.

First of all, thank you Netgalley for the ARC granted. This is the kind of book I like to read, because there's a lot of random infos aboout average things from our day lives in a fun and enjoyhable way.

This is an absolute gem for curious minds. This book is a treasure trove of incredible and fun facts that will leave readers in awe. From the bizarre to the mind-boggling, each page offers something new and fascinating to discover. Whether you're a trivia enthusiast or just someone looking to expand your knowledge in an entertaining way, this book is sure to delight. With its engaging writing style and diverse range of topics, This book is a must-have for anyone who loves to learn while having a great time.

Such a fun book of completely random facts! Great to pick up here and there for quick entertainment.

A fun book for casually exploring random facts from a variety of categories, including animals, space, technology and more.
This book could be amusing for teenagers or maybe if you’re sitting at the airport or waiting for a doctor’s appointment and want to check out for a while.

The Colossal Book of Incredible Facts for Curious Minds by Nigel Henbest; Simon Brew; Sarah Tomley; Ken Okona-Mensah; Tom Parfitt; Trevor Davies; Chas Newkey-Burden is so much fun I cannot even. So my review will simply be;
