I knew this one was going to be a good one!! Nora didn't disappoint at all!! It's more than good, it's Great!! Seven is a powerful number and Sonya and crew are finding out that learning of the seven, Seven Brides, Seven rings, is a really wild ride. Sonya was told early on that the manor she inherited was haunted, now she, along with her love interest, Trey, her best friend, Cleo and her cousin Owen, along with some lovable canine and one laid-back cat, is learning there is more to the banging, door slamming and bell ringing. Say hello to Hester, well better know as Dobbs, also better known as the wicked witch. Boy, does Dobbs keep the crew on their toes, but not to be outdone, the magical mirror comes around often to add to the mystery of The Manor. Want to join in on the fun? Hope you do and I can hardly wait to see how this one ends. Five stars, not enough, but the best I can do!! Highly recommend!!

Book #2 in the series, just as good as book #1! Dobbs scares the beejezus out of me, but all the other ghostly characters seem so kind. It must be nice having a ghost who waters your flowers and does your dishes! Aside from that, the premise of the book continued on well, and leads right into what will be Book #3 whenever it comes out. Another hit!

Ahhh she nails it again. Another amazing story at the Lost Bride Manor. We now have heard how all 7 brides died, and more about the amazing lives Sonya and Cleo have made for themselves at the manor. I love the addition of the cat to the family, and the return of the evil ex. I truly cannot wait to see how she ties this all together. Is the ex related to Hobbs?!

Book 2 in The Lost Bride Trilogy was just as good as the 1st. I loved finding out that Owen is in the mix for good. He’s great with Cleo. The back story of all the brides now lends to seeing how Sonya will be the rings back. Absolutely cannot wait for book 3. Thank you for the ARC NetGalley and St Martins Publishing Group

As a Nora Roberts junkie, I was so very honored and thrilled to be awarded this ARC. I loved the first The Lost Bride book(The Inheritance ) and could not wait to read the second. I am very happy to say the book was so good. I love the story line and cast of characters (especially the pets, ghosts, and house). The only thing I don’t like about this book, is that it I will have to wait so long for book 3.
If you love a suspenseful story with a side order of romance and fun characters, you should check this series out.
Netgalley and the publishers, you so very much this ARC.

I absolutely love all of Nora Roberts books, so I knew I would like this new book as well. The Mirror is the second book in the Lost Bride Trilogy and I really enjoyed reading it, couldn’t put it down. I loved all the main characters that we first met in the the first book. This book had everything a, witch, friendly ghosts and a little romance and I can’t wait for the final book in this trilogy to see how it all gets resolved. Thank you Netgalley for this arc.

Thanks to Net Galley for giving me the opportunity to read this book. It took me awhile to get into it but once I did I didn't want to stop reading. Sometimes the dialogue was a little hard to follow as to who said what and I had to go back and read a paragraph or two to understand. I loved the progression of the relationships between Sonia, Trey, Cleo and Owen and more family. I not usually one for ghosts but this works well. I enjoyed how they all embraced the good ghosts and stuck it to "Dobbs". Descriptions of things were so vivid I could picture every detail in my mind. Looking forward to the last book

After finishing Inheritance, I was so glad that I had a copy of The Mirror to jump right into. Sonya, Cleo, Trey, and Owen continue their quest to embrace the supernatural occupiers of the List Bride Manor and fight for any information that will help them get rid of the Entity that lives in the Gold Room. While there wasn’t a lot of resolution in the story, we continue to get information about the seven brides, as well as the developing friendships between the main characters. I can’t wait for the next one!

I loved this second book in the Lost Bride Trilogy. This continues the story of Sonya who inherited a family manor and its history. The story is enthralling and creepy enough to make you stop reading it once it gets dark. I can’t wait for the last in the trilogy!

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

I was thrilled when the advanced reader copy of the second book in this trilogy became available for me to read and review. Nora Roberts has been a must read author for me for years, and I especially love her trilogies. The characters are always very relatable - people you could imagine being friends with. The magical realism always seems believable enough - I'm a little disappointed that Jack doesn't come and play with my pets and Molly doesn't come and clean for me (tho I certainly don't need my own Hester!) I like following along as Sonya learns more about the Pooles and each of the brides. I do occasionally have trouble keeping track of all of them and would love a family tree that I could refer to. My favorite thing about Nora Roberts books is that I can’t wait to pick them up again. I’m always excited to get back to reading them and I don’t want to put them down. That’s what makes them 5 star reads for me.

I had been anxiously awaiting the 2nd book and jumped at the change to get an early copy (thank you Net Galley!). Unfortunately, this 2nd book left a lot to be desired. It seemed to drag on quiet a bit and I kept waiting for something big to happen. The majority of the book was leading up to an event I felt sure would push the plot forward, but it did not. It was nice to spent more time with the characters, but I wanted so much more.

Receiving an uncorrected digital galley of The Mirror was a wonderful thing. I immediately started reading this book and I was caught up in the story as I was with the first book. With Nora Roberts it seems you are transplanted into another world. My only criticism is that I have to patiently wait for the last book. If you are looking for an exciting read with paranormal activity, you must try this series. I received a e-book from NetGalley in return for an unbiased opinion. Thank you NetGalley!

I devoured the first book in this trilogy. It was full of things I love: ghosts, long-lost family, a cursed manor, small town romance, visions of the past, and twins! My only complaint was that the ending felt abrupt. I definitely have the same sole complaint about this one. I want to read book three immediately! So far, The Lost Bride Trilogy flows like one long epic novel rather than three individual books. I would recommend re-reading the first book, or the end of the first book, to get back into the flow of the story.

The Mirror goes deeper into the stories of the brides and what the mirror can do. We dig deeper into the Poole family lore. I really enjoyed getting to know each one better, and how they connect with the main character, Sonia. The first romance is steady and comforting, and the second romance is in full-bloom. My wishlist for book three includes more Poole cousins, both villains getting their due, and a Ghost twins moment.

Thank you, St. Martin's Press, for providing me with an advanced reader's copy.

Well, I need the last book, now!
The Mirror picked up exactly where The Inheritance left off. I struggled at the beginning of the book, simply because there was so much explaining about facts from the previous book (I reread the first book immediately before starting The Mirror). I understand that this is done in order to allow people to read the book without having read the first one, but it was a lot of rehashing for someone that had just finished the previous book.

That being said, I devoured The Mirror! I absolutely love every character in these stories (with the exception of a certain black clad witch). I believe Clover may be my favorite, though I do like the addition of Pye. I'm a bit sad that I'll have to wait at least a year to finish this story! I'll just have to reread the first 2.

I was so happy to get the ARC of the mirror that I immediately jumped right into it!
The mirror picks up right where inheritance leaves off, settling that cliff hanger.
Relationships deepen, and new ones begin :) We get a more in depth look into the lost bride and their histories and stories. CAN NOT wait for book 3 to see how this amazing story ends.
Thank you, Netgalley, for this book!!!!

Book 2 in the Lost Bride Trilogy is a delight, and continues to be Nora Roberts at her most enjoyable. Picking up exactly where book 1 left off, the story continues with Sonya, Cleo, Trey, Owen (and pets) learning more about the history and past inhabitants of the manor in their efforts to put an end to the Poole curse, while building relationships and community. The secondary characters in Roberts' books add so much depth to her stories, and this trilogy is no exception, with all the care and creativity we've come to expect from Roberts as she builds the characters' relationships between family (past and present), friends, community and lovers. Your only complaint will be that we are left hanging at the end and waiting another year for Book 3 to be released.

With a beautiful house, a wicked witch, a mystery to solve, and plenty of romance, the second installment of Nora Roberts Lost Bride Trilogy does not disappoint. In the first installment of the series, the main character, Sonya MacTavish, learns that she has inherited a mansion on the coast of Maine. Throughout the story, she discovers the house's history, encounters the former inhabitants, and learns to embrace her new, unusual life, all while falling in love and working to banish an evil house guest. In the second installment, The Mirror, MacTavish, her best friend, lover, and cousin, are further embroiled in a centuries-old mystery while planning a town-wide event and a professional coup. A page-turner of a story, Roberts draws her readers deeper into the narrative, leaving them anxious for more. The Lost Bride Trilogy, especially this latest novel, is well worth binge-reading to the last page.

Thank you to the publisher for an eARC of the book via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I can't believe I'm going to have to wait for at least a year in order to know how this story ends!
I'm really enjoying this trilogy from Nora Roberts and it's definitely different from her previous romance/suspense books. There's definitely romance, but that isn't the primarily focus of the book. As well, in the past, each book in a trilogy focused on a different FMC and MMC. In this trilogy, the second book is very much a continuation of the first book and told from the perspective of the same FMC, Sonya MacTavish.

In book two, Sonya, her boyfriend (Trey), her bestie and roommate (Clear), and her cousin/Trey's bestie (Owen) continue to try to figure out how to get rid of Hester Dobbs, the woman who is haunting Sonya's gorgeous house. I feel like this book helped to progress the story to learn more about who Hester was, how the curse started, and try to gain insight into how to break the curse. At the same time, Sonya continues to learn about her father's biological family, and is settling into her new life in the small Maine community, while also establishing her career as a freelance marketing/graphic design consultant.

Nora Roberts knows what she's doing, especially when it comes to paranormal world building. She is the queen of "show, don't tell" when it comes to establishing the rules of the paranormal world, how humans are involved, etc. She blends the paranormal with the 'everyday' of non-paranormal life such that they are seamlessly integrated and doesn't feel jarring at all.

I think long-time fans of La Nora will enjoy the book and will be eager for the third and final book to be released in 2025!

Fantastic sequel to The Inheritance! I adore the spirits of the house getting their own character development. I am so intrigued to know where the next installment will lead. Will all the loose ends finally be tied up? What will happen to the good spirits once the issue with Dobbs is resolved? Will they still be hanging around? I am hoping that the third book will pick up right where this one leaves us hanging!

On a more technical note, I still feel like the dialogue can be a bit cluttered at times. I have never been into listening to audio books, but I wonder if the dialogue was written with the intent of being listened to?

"Seven brides with seven rings, with blood and death their power sings. The rings on the hand make them mine, and I mistress here for all time."

This book picks up from the cliffhanger of the first book. Sonya and Owen are swept away into the past to Lisabeth's wedding in the manor. They hope to reach her before the murdering witch, Hester Dobbs, manages to gain the ring from Lisabeth's finger but they are too late in doing so. Returning to the present, Sonya and the others (alongside some friendly ghosts) must find ways to stop Hester Dobbs from gaining her wish - to become the mistress of the manor.

HOLY MOLEY! I was excited to see this book up and more excited when I finally had the chance to read it. The first book was amazing as it set up most of the manor's history and now we are having ghostly visits from the murdered brides, which is quite amazing. Hester Dobbs is a Thanos-esque character determined to remove all obstacles from her path to gain ownership of the mansion. I LOVED IT.

I am rooting for all the romances right now because I love all four main characters. Their character growth grew during the second book as well as the bond between Cleo and Sonya and these two are the type of friends I wish I had. I am envious of it.
