This book is a drop-everything-and-read-it-now for me. I fell so hard for Inheritance last year that when I saw that this was on NetGalley, my soul yeeted out of my body and returned once the kindle download was complete. Even just into the Prologue, this book was everything. I live for this book and this series, Ms. Roberts. And it held up to the very end. I cried several times because it was perfection itself.

The Mirror was so good. The vibes and ambiance are immaculate. I would like a haunted mansion like The Lost Bride Manor. Please and thank you. Invisible housekeeper, ghost dj, and all… but maybe without the crazy witch. The author has such a talent for characterization. You honestly fall in love with every single one of those characters. It doesn’t matter what they’re doing, I just want to sit around and watch them go about their days. But of course, we need to defeat Hester Dobbs and I need book 3 now to see it done.

My mama is already clamoring for this book for Christmas. If you haven’t read The Lost Bride Series, you’re really missing out. Don’t sleep on it. Highly recommend to EVERYBODY. If it isn’t clear how much I love this book, go out and get it. 5/5. Obsessed.

I love all of Nora’s books, and I am particularly a fan of her trilogies. Yes, they can be formulaic, but the formula works! “The Mirror” is a great follow-up to “Inheritance”. Sonya is a strong lead, but, as always, I enjoyed the stories of the supporting characters as much as the main characters. Trey, Owen, and Cleo are great, as are their families and the townspeople, but I am enjoying the stories of the metaphysical characters as much as the others. It’s a good story, and a very engaging read. I can’t wait for the third installment! (I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for my unbiased review.)

The first Nora Roberts book I ever read was "The Reef." I was home with the flu in high school, and my mom's best friend bought it for me to read. I didn't become a huge Nora Roberts fan until I graduated college. Once I became a “true fan” I literally started marking release dates on my calendar. Normally, I am someone who waits until the third trilogy book is released to read the whole series; however, last year, I got chance to read the first book in the new “Lost Brides” series. This year, I was thrilled to get a chance to read book two in the series.

Pros: This book hit me in the feels, in a good way. Although you truly feel for the characters in the first book, this one takes it too a whole other level. I know that I am going to be a bit depressed when I finish book three next year.

Cons: I do miss the old format of Nora’s trilogies (three couples with a book focusing on each one).

This book makes me love the series even more than the first one. I can’t wait for book three!

What an absolutely intriguing book! So much happens. Sonya and Cleo has made the manor a home. We get to meet more lost brides. Hester Dobbs is truly evil. The two couples are slowly learning how to deal with her. I absolutely adore Clover. There’s lots of pets also. I can’t wait for the conclusion of this series. Nora Roberts is a master of writing strong women characters and the men who encourage their strength. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. The ability to make you cry

I just love how romance and friendship are at the forefront of this series. Both books in the Lost Bride trilogy so far have made me want to abandon responsibility and move to Maine in a Big Ol House (alas, no relatives have left me one in their will). But man it’s just so COZY. Imagine living in a big house with your best friend and you adopt some animals and you both have a romance with very hot, supportive, protective guys, and some really nice ghosts keep your house clean (and oops there’s an evil ghost on the third floor but when she acts up you just yell at her) and you can see yourself just creating a found family and integrating into the larger community and money is no object because your uncle you never knew left you the family house and cash. THE DREAM TBH.

This book is all that. 4.5 stars.

I have read almost all of Nora Robert’s back list at this point. While she is incredibly formulaic, I still always enjoy myself. It’s like coming home and snuggling in with your favorite blanket. You know what you’re going to get. While I still enjoy her newest work, it is not the same level of comfort her other writing brought.

The Mirror continues the story of Sonya MacTavish, from Inheritance, in book two of The Lost Bride Trilogy.

The Mirror picks up with the relationships that were established in the first book, and we get to see them grow a little more. I loved that we got to meet more of Sonya and Cleo’s family, as well as, get more information on some of the Poole’s.

There is some background information about Hester Dobbs that is revealed through one of Sonya’s trips through the mirror. I was glad we got to see into the past and see more of her motivation behind the curse. Dobbs ghostly, witchy tantrums add such a fun spooky element to the story.

One of my favorite, sweetest moments in this book, was when Sonya’s grandmother got to have a moment with Clover and share with her about Drew! Definitely one of my most loved scenes from both books so far.

I can’t wait to continue the story in the third book and find out how Sonya and her friends have to go about finding the rings and finally break the curse that has bound the Poole family for so long!!

Excellent follow-up to Inheritance, The Mirror is the second book in the Lost Brides Manor trilogy. I can't wait to see how it all ends!

This is definitely one of the best series I have red by Nora Roberts-just phenomenal. The Mirror picks up exactly where The Inheritance left off, traveling back through the mirror Sonya is determined to solve the mystery and set everything right.

Helping her out is her best friend Cleo, i loved reading about the incredible friendship and how well suited they are for each other, both living and working in the mansion. Cleo and Owen have a sizzling connection and it was fun to see them flirt with each other while helping Sonya.

Trey of course is amazing and i love the way he is there for Sonya. This book explores all the friendships, relationships, family connections and everything that comes with it.. All of the mysteries will be solved, love is blossoming, and relationships just keep getting better.This has become such a great trilogy and am anxiously waiting for the 3rd one to come out.

I enjoyed the first book in this series and was looking forward to the next installment. I must admit to feeling a bit let down. Especially by the ending, which means I must await a third installment to find out if Sonya MacTavish and friends ever kill the wicked witch. Maybe they should just throw water on her!

The characters are still engaging, and so is the plot, but there were so many scenes where the four main characters simply fix and eat dinner and chat about their work that I kept expecting there to be recipes and dinner invitations included on the pages. Housemates Sonya and Cleo get along and everyone loves and wants their work. The romantic relationships are all pleasant and predictable with no bumps or tension. In fact, everyone is so nice that it made it difficult to feel the scary scenes with any apprehension.

Roberts is a skilled and accomplished writer, so "The Mirror" will appeal to readers of cozies and those who don't mind a small town where everyone is kind, talented, and agreeable and they all want Sonya to design their websites. This reader likes a bit more drama and spice. Now, when the heroine goes through the mirror and can't get back, that would be a complication to get the other characters motivated! Full disclosure: Roberts does plant a few possible roadblocks in this second volume, so perhaps she has lulled us into a false sense of security. :)

I have been a fan of Nora Roberts, for a long time. Her books are always good. I loved this one. It was the second book in a series. I loved the first book as well. I loved the ending in this one. I was so excited to see this book as a read now option because I had recently finished my first ever Nora Roberts novel and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I had also heard great things about the Lost. Bride Trilogy (of which this book is the second in the series), so I swooped this up so fast. Before I started this book though, I did spend about and a day and a half reading and listening to the first book in the series Identity so I was all caught up. After that I dove into this book and I finished it in just over a day. I'm kind of kicking myself for reading this book so fast because that now means that I have to wait over a year or so for the third and final installment in the Lost Bride series. Overall, I would say this book is as strong or stronger than the first book when it comes to the plot. Also much like Mind Games which I finished recently, I could see this book series being turned in to a movie. Overall, I loved this book and I am just bummed that I read it so fast and now have to wait for the third installment of this book series! I will probably also request the audiobook version of this book if/when it becomes available on NetGalley because like the first book in the series, this book is set to be narrated by Brittany Presley and I could seriously listen to her narrate almost anything!

The Mirror is a wonderful continuation of the Lost Bride Trilogy. It provided the reader with a build up of the mystery, answered some questions, enhanced the relationship that the reader had with the main characters, Sonya, Trey, Owen, and Cleo, and their relationships with the town of characters, including their animals. I am very excited to read the final book in the trilogy. Another great Nora Roberts book!

I have been WAITING for this one! Since I read the first one last year! It did not disappoint! Definitely in my top 5 for the year!

4.5 Book two of the trilogy picked up right where the first one left off with Sonya and Owen stepping through the mirror. It was a good continuation to the ghost story with progress made on understanding the history of the brides and the manor. I love all the friendly ghosts that become part of their family and wish I had my own Molly! 😊 I also loved seeing how Sonya and Cleo fit into their new community and for it to become their true home.

The dialogue can be a little hard to follow at times, especially if you aren’t used to the style the author uses when writing as J.D. Robb. I’m still betting there’s been some marketing money exchanged for using “Coke” 29 times in the book. It’s so frequent, it’s distracting.

The ghost part of the story will obviously continue in book three, but I have no clue who will be the love interest.

I am new to Nora Robert’s and read this without realizing this was a second book! I am engulfed even so! Ordering the first one as we type.

I absolutely am in LOVE with this trilogy so far. This is the second book in the Lost Bride Trilogy and picks up directly where the first ended, so if you haven't read the first you will definitely want to read the first book "Inheritance" first before diving into this one. I actually went back and re-read the first book just so I'd have the story fresh in my mind when I started the second, and I'm so glad I did because I loved revisiting these characters and their stories.

This book picks up directly where "Inheritance" left off, and it was non-stop until the end with yet another bit of cliffhanger. The story still focused on Sonya and Trey, but this time we got a little bit of romance from Cleo and Owen. The Manor's ghostly inhabitants are all still up to their lovable antics and are just fantastic characters overall (with the exception of the annoying "baddie in residence", as I like to call her). I always love Clover's choice of music and how Molly is so dedicated in keeping the house top notch. In this book we get to learn even more about some of the ghosts' histories, as well as see the progress of all our living main characters. I cannot wait to see where the story will lead us in the third and final book!

One of the reasons I absolutely LOVE Nora Roberts' books is her character development and attention to details. Some may find the everyday details of characters simply getting up in the morning and planning their day as boring or a bit much, but honestly, it makes me feel like I am right there with the characters and experiencing their lives right along with them. It truly is an escape for me.

This series. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about it. When I think back to some of her other, paranormal type trilogies, it's three different couples and one over arcing plotline(if that's a thing). This series is one continuous trilogy, and while she of course, adds in another couple, it's still one, continuous plotline across the two (thus far) books. I love the premise of this one. Read Inheritance first, obviously, and go in with an open mind.

I have been anxiously awaiting book 2 in this trilogy, book one left off on one big cliffhanger and I could not wait to return to Poole Bay and catch up with Sonya , Trey, Owen, and Cleo and the secrets and mysteries of the manor!

Let me start by saying you need to read book one to get the full story and because book one ends on such a cliffhanger and book 2 picks up immediately after the cliffhanger.

This author has blown me away with this series, and I seriously cannot wait for three to see how this ends up, will good overcome evil?, Will love, triumph, hate, will the light out shine the darkness and who will break the curse of the manor!
