I received a complimentary copy from the publisher and all opinions expressed are mine.
This is a wonderful read on the journey to getting to baby. It tackles diet ,health and also causes of infertility that can include PCOS, endometriosis, fibroids, egg quality, low sperm count, and more. The book literates the importance of diet and is well researched.
This is a well written, well researched and well thought about book. I learnt a lot that I didn't already know after trying (sucesfully) for a baby for 5 years! Lots of things yo keep in mind for trying for baby number 2
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this read. All opinions are my own.
Relevant and well researched book for anyone interested in improving their nutrition while trying to have a baby. I heard the author on a podcast, and was pleased to find the book available here. The data was easily understood and there are takeaways that can be quickly integrated.
A great resource for all my clients during their fertility journey. The information is evidence-based, tangible, and realistic for clients to follow. Not only do Angela and Judy provide information in an organized and understandable way, but they provide goals, tips, and recipes for people to actually follow. Often times, people know "what to do" but they need the most help with actually how to do it. Getting to Baby does just that.
Just what I was looking for! There is so much advice circling everywhere it was so great to have a concise summarized source full of helpful information. I found it organized well, not overwhelming, but still super informative and full of things I didn't know.
Thank you to the publisher and to NetGalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.
This was a very well written and thought out book about how food affects fertility.
Unfortunately, sometimes it felt like I was reading a nutrition textbook, so I got a bit bored, but I loved the knowledge I learned-especially TTC!
The authors deal with a lot of facts after numerous studies, convincing me they know what they're talking about.
My favorite part of the book though, was the six-week guide at the end. Short and sweet and easy to follow.
