Let me start by saying that I hadn’t read any Teagan Hunter books before.
But after this ARC, I’ll add her stories to my TBR list for sure.

This story was fun, cute and full of relatable characters.
From our curvy FMC Olive; who is strong and independent; to our cinnamon roll MMC Jude; who provides swoony banter with the right amount of sweetness for his Ollie girl.
But it are the amazing side-characters like the Rafferty siblings and the roommate/bestie Annie, that flesh out the story and make for a great read.
I really enjoyed the set-up for Jude & Olive’s DM chat. And how their natural chemistry was palpable in the texts as well as in person. Even before they connect the dots, the IRL meet-cute moments at JT’s coffee truck had me grinning from ear to ear. Plus the duo’s awesome banter had me laughing and blushing throughout the entire book. Ooh, and can I just do a shout-out to the use of nicknames .. Asshat & Sunshine were such an awesome fit.

If you are looking for a fun rom-com with some spice, in a NYC scene filled with influencers and celebrities. With a reverse Grumpy/Sunshine love story between a curvy FMC and cinnamon roll hero who have instant-chemistry. Then this is the dual POV book for you. Get it on your TBR before pub-day on July 2nd.

Funny, fast past quick read in dual PoV which was just what I was looking for .
I have read a few books Tegan in the past and this hit the spot like so many of their previous books.

I loved how Jude as a a cinnamon role mmc and Olive is a strong confident funny FMC for me the funny personable part was important as strong FMC are quite often portrayed as unfriendly and unapproachable. Which happily is not the case here.

What I also found refreshing were the side characters in the story they can definatly make or break my love of a book and they made this , the siblings, the friendships the publishers all being supportive of Josh and Olive.

If your looking for an engaging low on angst faced paced book look no further this is exactly what you need

The DM Diaries by Teagan Hunter is a celebrity romcom and the story of Olive and Jude.
 
Olive is a plus-size model and influencer and I really liked seeing this representation. Olive is such a kind and confident person and I absolutely love her. In addition, I not only share a birthday with her, but saw a lot of myself in Olive. I also loved how Jude nicknamed her sunshine and it’s very fitting. At the same time, she is very real and has her own struggles and is in therapy. She is supposed to write a diary to process everything and she decides to do that in the DMs of a Hollywood actor.
 
Jude comes from a prestigious Hollywood and actor family, and I loved seeing their bond. He is pursuing acting as well but after an interview has gone wrong, he needs to find another job and takes over managing his brother‘s social media accounts and that’s when he sees Olive‘s DMs and messages her back. Jude is a total sweetheart, and he is charming and sexy, and I liked him a lot.
 
The relationship develops lovely, and they start off writing messages to each other and I always love that. But when their paths cross in real life, Olive isn’t too fond of their first meeting and Jude needs to put in some effort to win her over. This created a bit of tension and back and forth and it even sweeter when they finally get together. The romance is sweet, flirty, and inclusive and was just great. Another aspect I liked was the setting in New York and you get all the city vibes.
 
Overall, The DM Diaries is a great romcom with amazing characters and representation. 4,5 stars.

Teagan Hunter gives good banter! This book was refreshingly funny and oh-so-steamy in all the right places. Jude Rafferty is a cinnamon roll of a main male character. These two had off the charts chemistry and it came through on the page. Love all of Teagan's books, and this one is a real winner.

Fun and witty, The DM Diaries is a great rom com, filled with fantastic banter and a well written story that will definitely hold your interest. The chemistry between Jude and Olive is so good and I really enjoyed their dynamic. Overall, a solid read that I really enjoyed.

This book was cute! The first 50% had me really intrigued as to what would happen next and how the couple would progress! I loved the banter between Jude and Olive! It was so fun to read their constant back and forth, whether in person or via DMs. My only issue with this book was the third act break up. I dont particularly enjoy third act break ups to begin with but when the characters choose to flee at the first sign of trouble in the relationship, it makes me dislike it more. I understand wanting to flee because it may be easier, but communication in a relationship is so important and I feel like the third act break up could have been resolved if they would have just talked to each other in the first place. That's the only thing that stops me from giving this book 5 stars, because other than that I really enjoyed it!

A cute one. Olive thought she was throwing her thoughts and dreams into the ether when she began DMing Jasper but as it turns out, she finds love with Jude, Jasper's brother who manages his social media. These two make a fun pair but just as good are their friends and family. This follows the classic pattern for rom coms (there's a break up but....) and there's some nice steam. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A fun read.

I’ve read a lot of Teagans hockey romances so was excited to read this too. Jude was such a cinnamon roll (probably more like a blueberry danish 😉). He goes about things the wrong way, I’ll give you that, but he is so adorable you can’t even be a little bit mad about it.
Olive is just a wonderful human, her dedication to stand by her ideals was beautiful to read and I loved her sass when she and Jude were messaging.

I loved Olive and Jude! Jude isn't one for socials, but when he has a disasterous interview it's clear that he needs to learn what he is doing if he is going to nail interviews being in the Hollywood spotlight. He takes over his brother Jasper's social media and realizes that Jasper has thousands of unread messages. While scrolling, he comes across one in particular that he can't stop reading.
Olive's therapist told her to keep a diary, not to send all of her thoughts to an actor named Jasper on Instagram. She knows he will never see them so she just keeps sending. Until one day he replies.. and he's even better than she thought he would be.
Jude feels bad letting this girl think he is his brother, but he never wants to stop talking to her. She is real and that is exactly what he needs in his life. Olive and Jude meet in real life, at a coffee truck, before they know they are talking to each other on socials and I kept screaming.. it's him! it's her! but it really didn't go on for extremely long and I liked that about this book. Once they met, you could feel the chemistry and you knew it would only be up from there.
This book was cute and light and just a fun time.

I’m a big fan of the author’s hockey books but this felt like a totally different person’s writing. Both characters were immature and the plot was implausible (why would Jude be posting to his brother’s instagram?? It makes no sense)

I don’t know, maybe someone will love it! But this wasn’t for me.

This one started out a little slow for me, but once it finally picked up I was IN. One of my favorite micro tropes in romance novels is text messages or online convos and let me tell you, Teagan Hunter NEVER disappoints when it comes to that. This was such a sweet little story and I look forward to what comes next.

Olive was a plus size model who held to her principles. I loved how strong she was and that she knew what she wanted and didn’t compromise on it. She was spirited and fiery and full of so much life.

Jude was absolutely adorable. He was struggling to find his place in his acting family and was searching for something “real”. Olive was the first person in a long time who truly saw the real person behind the fame. I loved how sweet and supportive he was of Olive and how he was determined to get to know her.

“It turns out, Olive is what I wanted all along. She gave me everything I was always missing. She gave me something real.”

The snarky banter and flirty texts between Jude and Olive were an absolute delight. I loved watching them get to know each other in different contexts and then falling for each other in real life. They were the perfect match together and I loved how Olive was able to provide a place of calm for Jude while he was there to uplift her. The DM Diaries was an engaging read that was funny and full of heart and I hope to see more of these characters in future stories.

What a cute and different story. This is about two celebrities who want more out of life than all the "fake" around them. They meet each other in the most peculiar way and hit it off. But when private things get exposed will their relationship survive?

This is a quick, fun read that shines a light on the pitfalls of the celeb life: Olive might be trying to build her career as a model and influencer, but gets a little more than she bargained for when she ends up in the orbit of Jude and his ultra-famous acting family. While I found the initial premise a bit of a stretch (would you really use a famous actor’s DMs as your personal and private journal?), there’s no denying that Olive and Jude have plenty of chemistry. The relationships with the supporting characters - Jude and his siblings, Olive and Annie - were also very strong, and I’m guessing there may be more to come in this particular world.

A slow burn done right with an amazing balance of romance and side characters. The overall plot was good, the Hollywood of it all was off putting at times but Teagan always nails the story

I really love this book. It had me smiling almost the entire time. It was so freaking adorable. As a plus size girl, I love that the FMC was curvy on top of fun and strong and Jude was so sweet. This was highly enjoyable and I definitely recommend

The premise of DM Diaries had a great hook. DM'ing a stranger - a Hollywood Heartthrob, no less- about your every hope and dream, and suddenly getting a response and moving on to becoming friends was a very interesting story line. Olive and "Jasper the movie star" (but not really Jasper) got along so well online. Jude, Jasper's less famous and definitely introverted brother, was DM'ing Olive in his brother's place because he read her VERY personal messages and thought she seemed like a nice person. Their story progressed - very very slowly- until they finally went from BFFs online and "Hate your guts" offline to all consuming love.
What really irked me is the fact that they kept bumping into each other at the coffee shop and Jude never recognized Olive. Yes, she had a hat and sunglasses on, but is it really so difficult to recognize a person with a hat and sunglasses? And not recognizing someone you spend so much time talking to online? And even after meeting them MULTIPLE times? Wasn't the most believable "OMG I did not know who you were" scenario.

This was such a fun, light read. I adore both Olive and Jude from the very start.

The banter between Jude and Olive was fantastic, before and after Olive knew his true identity. There is very obvious chemistry between the two of them from the start, too. Jude is super sweet and protective. I love how he is with Olive and how supportive of her he is. Olive is equally as amazing, I love that no matter what she stands for what she believes in. I also love how supportive she also is of Jude.

I loved the secondary characters in this book and I love the overall premise of the story. It was something a little different and fresh.

Normally, I love all titles from this author, however I was disappointed with what I was reading and had to DNF. Teagan Hunter is one of those authors that I can count on for a fun, lighthearted romance usually with hockey themes and female characters who go outside the norm. Plus size and curvy are what I love to read. The heroine felt so immature, and I couldn't connect with her at all.
