What this book is meant to do, it does well. Free Spirit publishes great books for teachers and parents to use with kids. It's not the kind of book kids are likely to pick up on their own, but if they do, the simple sentences and vocabulary will be good for Kdg-2nd grade readers. A good book to keep in mind for bibliotherapy.
