After reading the small snippet that I was given, I am mad that I didn’t get the whole book to read. The first chapter was amazing. It actually grabbed my attention better than the second book in this series.

It gets right to the action and is heart breaking at the same time. Great start and I hope it continues like this through out the book. We need a movie!

Fantastic beginning to the final installment to the series... I can't wait to see how it all ends in another couple of weeks.

Children of Blood and Bone was one of my favorite reads of 2019 and I've been anxiously waiting for this third installment! The sampler definitely has me on the edge of my seat to see what happens to these characters in the rest of book.

OMG WHAT?? I have been eagerly awaiting the conclusion of this trilogy and this sampler was the epitome of cruelty, because it only whetted my appetite further. Tomi Adeyemi is bringing all the smoke with "Children of Anguish and Anarchy" and I am SO here for it. Cannot wait to learn what happens next, where Zélie’s journey will lead her and what happens next in this world. Get into it!

The first chapter of "Children of Anguish and Anarchy" by Tomi Adeyemi is captivated by the intense need to know what's next in Zélie’s perilous predicament. Adeyemi's vivid storytelling and rich world-building promise an epic continuation of Zélie’s journey. This chapter sampler leaves you eager for the full adventure and the ultimate battle for Orïsha's survival.

This sounds promising. I loved the first book in this trilogy and was let down by some character choices and development in the second book, but this sampler seems like this book could have the punch that I enjoyed in the first installment. I look forward to reading it.

While it was only a chapter, this first chapter was amazing! So worth the wait and I can't wait to read the rest. I'm so sad this trilogy is ending but if the first chapter is any indication on how it ends, then this is going to end strong.

This sampler was AMAZING. I can not wait until June for this book to debut. The conclusion to this trilogy is one of my most anticipated reads of this year!

After literally just finishing Children of Virtue and Vengeance, I had to immediately read this sampler and, BABY, I am ready for this release. Just these 5 chapters alone are the epitome of anarchy and anguish! This will be another captivating novel from beginning to end. Im so excited for it!

This just makes me want the full book even more! Cannot wait to revisit this world and these characters!

This is only the first five chapters and so much is going on! I cannot wait to get the rest of the story. I really loved how we got a quick recap of the events of the last book.

I know it's only the first five chapters but this book is going to be so good. Definitely pulled me in immediately. I've been waiting for this!

I really enjoyed the first 2 books of this trilogy and am really looking forward to reading the last one. This sampler put me back in the mood to finish it up! Looking forward to it!

I guess I would have to read the rest to give a accurate review for this book. The sample didn't really settle with me or even really make me want to read the book.

I cannot wait to read the rest of the book. The first two were so strong and I can't wait to keep reading. The cover is absolutely gorgeous and I know everyone is excited to see how Tomi Adeyemi finishes the trilogy!

The monarchy continues to oppress those they feel are less than. This journey will cause you heartache and laughter and everything in between.. It pulls at your heartstrings. You have love, loss, heartache, betrayal, vengeance and so much more. The sacrifices these characters and the udder loss of family and friends is heart wrenching. Zelie, Amari , Tzain and Inan will cause you to love them and at time love to hate them and hate to love them. Book 3 can’t come soon enough !
