Thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was very well written by an author that never disappoints in my opinion

Domestic thrillers that can keep you on the edge are great. His Last Wife is one of them.

Ruhi Choudhary is a new author for me, though I have heard of her books quite often. I picked this one up just to sample her writing. I was not disappointed.

Suspend some disbelief and go on this journey. You will be rewarded too. I was often reminded of Rebecca, especially in the first part.

This talented author has written a page turner. A missing wife…a new wife…his last? Will she be next? A daughter…secrets and red herrings kept me guessing…this book would make a great movie…it is fiction that, at times, reads like nonfiction. The neighbors gossip…the new wife wonders what happened? A locked room…the recipe for unhappiness…secrets me difficult subjects…thanks Netgalley.

Omigod this was so good! You never see the twists coming! His Last Wife follows a woman who discovers her wealthy husband has a missing wife and the neighbourhood is also pretty weird.

However, Anna’s husband Cary confesses that his first wife Presley disappeared. Then there is one room in the house that Anna is not allowed to enter.As the days progress, Anna realizes that she really needs answers for her questions regarding almost everything around her. Did the fist wife disappear or someone did something to her?

This book was a sharp tension filled read with excellent pacing. While Anna is the protagonist, the chapters and the characters shaped this book fabulously.

I’ve never read a book from this author yet but now that I do, I wanted to read more! It actually took me too long to recover from this book because of the plots and twists. It’s just mind-blowing! Overall this is such a great read! Thank you NetGalley and Bookouture for the advance reading copy.

The twists and turns!!! I could not put this book down! It gave McFadden vibes in parts but Choudhary definitely made this their own. Looking forward to more from this author.

Wow - this was a rollercoaster ride from beginning to end. I was truly so shocked by all of the twists at the end. Just when I thought I'd gotten ahold of why things played out the way they did, another wrench was thrown in and twisted everything around. The POV of the "watcher" was an especially fun mystery to try and suss out. I thought I had figured out who it was until it was finally revealed at the end. I had no inkling that it could be who it ended up being. I was so shocked by all of the revelations in this and its been a while since I've read a thriller like this that surprised me so many times. Loved this book. The reason being it was just unpredictable. I had a huge connection with the characters also. That is a huge part of my rating system so very impressed with it.

What a fantastic story! I easily connected with Anna, the main character. I felt like I was right there experiencing everything with her.
I enjoyed the addition of a mysterious character every few chapters that added drama and excitement to the story. I liked the secondary main character as well.
So many twists and turns, and jaw dropping revelations! I devoured this book in one day because I could not stop reading!

Chilling read. I was hooked from the very beginning! Lots of twists and turns that kept me guessing. I highly recommend!!

Anna thinks her life is perfect now she’s met Carey, they have moved back to his home with his baby daughter Harper who Anna thinks of as her own - ‘I’m her Mommy now’. But always in the shadows is his first wife Presley, who mysteriously disappeared without a trace. Carey has told Anna that she was abducted from her car leaving behind a pool of blood, but Anna soon discovers via the neighbours that she was actually abducted from her bedroom. As Anna seeks to discover the truth, and why Carey lied to her she finds the bedroom behind a locked door, and inside her diary. But Carey isn’t the only one keeping secrets, Anna has some of her own, and she will do anything to prevent them being discovered.

This story was so unpredictable! I had no idea where things were leading until it hit me in the face! This book is full of more surprises than a magicians hat! And they just keep on coming! Loved Anna brilliant character, so deep and complex, you feel like you’re only scratching the surface throughout! Really enjoyed reading this, an excellent psychological thriller!

I really thought that I had this one figured out....but I definitely did NOT. This book was fantastic, and I really enjoyed all of the twists. There were some very unlikeable characters (in a good way), and at one point I didn't know who to root for. Definitely recommend picking this one up!

Well, this thriller was a huge roller coaster ride. My head was spinning from the revelations. If you you’re looking for a gripping #psychologicalthriller, pick this one up!

His Last Wife by Ruhi Choudhary and narrated by Penelope Rawlins, and Kelly Burke was an excellent and gripping psychological thriller with a heart-stopping twist that will have you gripped from the beginning till the very end. This audiobook was excellent and I loved it. I ended up listening to the audiobook whilst shopping and then taking my dog for a walk, it was so good it was hard to put it down......

I loved the characters, I thought I had worked it all out Then Bang! it all changes again..............I had to rewind the big reveal - did I hear that correctly??

The narrators Kelly Burke and Penelope Rawlins were amazing and bought the audiobook alive! They worked superb together.

This story through me for quite a loop.

The suspense builds throughout the beginning, but continues to grow. I came to love Anna and Harper, while both despise and fear Cary and and Presley. The ending is a twist I never saw coming and kept me on the edge until the very end.

Overall an easy and fun read! Highly suggest it for fans of thrillers.

A complicated twisty book with a final twist which was both surprising and slightly disappointing. A lot of factors happening in the book depends on the choice of one person, if they chose a different path - one more likely then none of what followed would occur, having said that though it is a story so of course the choice was made so that the book could be written. The characters were not the easiest to like, all written to appear superior to everyone else. The one character I thought I’d get on with - become one of them. Overall though it was a fast paced book and definitely fits the thriller genre - a good 3.5 stars from me.

His Last Wife is a complete rollercoaster of a story. It is fast paced and packed full of twists and turns, secrets and lies. I was so completely hooked from start to finish that I just could not put it down, so I didn't. I highly recommend His Last Wife.
