This served as a perfect book for older and younger readers alike who want to feel closer to Jesus. I'm so serious when I say it's one of my favourite books I've read this year and the activities suggested in it along with the simple informative way it talks about the happenings of the Bible is extremely helpful for anyone looking to either create or deepen their relationship with Jesus. Absolutely perfect, and would recommend to anyone and everyone, new Christians especially
This is a good book for older children to get their thought on different things. It is a great book to open up dialog about your religion. Each chapter has questions to help get conversations going. My only problem is there are no illustrations to keep children interested and add to the understanding of what they are reading.
A sober book for children and adults.
If you are a child and middle age reader, and you love Jesus, this book is for you.
If you are a parent who wants your children to know Jesus better, this book is for you too.
I really think it is life a hidden treasure, I loved the way this book explains so deeply aspects of our catholic faith.
I am touched, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
My kids go to public school and I am interested in teaching them about faith at home. I would say that this book would be appropriate for ages 8-young teen. It focuses on having a relationship with Jesus and the idea of how loved we are and special! There are questions at the end of each section that are well presented and help the reader understand what they just read. They present real life worries that kids may have and then give ideas on how to tackle these issues. There are no pictures or at least not in the copy that I received. SO it really is for older kids but I think that's a good thing. There are so many books for young children that are catholic faith based. I really think it's a great book for homeschoolers or any parent wanting to teach their children that faith is about a relationship with the Lord rather than just rules.
