Pizza and Taco: Best Christmas Ever by Stephen Shaskan. Pizza and Taco are enjoying the best Christmas ever because they can enjoy their toys together. Read the book to your children and grandchildren they will love it.
Nothing cute than Pizza & Taco! These graphic novels are such a hit! I was thrilled to see this next book is Christmas themed. As a teacher I love these & as a parent my kids can’t get enough!
My 5 year old son & I read this together. Pizza & Taco are preparing for Christmas and talking about their wishes. The story has a cute kindness piece to it at the end. The colors are so vibrant & the food puns are so cute. These books are not only an adorable read but kids want to reread over and over. They’re visually appealing as well as gently balanced with not too many words. We are big fans & I can’t wait to purchase this as a Christmas gift!
At my last library trip the librarian said she couldn’t keep Pizza & Taco on the shelves!
Thank you to NetGalley and Random House Children’s Publishing for an advanced read copy of this book!
Both my elementary aged children and my special education students love the Pizza and Taco series so I was thrilled to receive a copy of this book. My 3rd grader plowed through the book quickly and smiled at all of Pizza and Tacos holiday antics. The addition of some familiar side characters and some new ones was cute and the book had a sweet little ending reminding the reader about friendship and thinking of others.
My son loved this book and I know my students will as well. I am looking forward to adding this to my classroom library for a fun holiday read!
I finished reading this in 14 minutes. It was adorable. Very cute story for kids. And the best part is the adorable pictures. The food looks realistic and cartoonish at the same time. I love it!
I get such a kick out of the Pizza and Taco books. They're best friends and silly in the same ways. In this book, they're excited about Christmas way ahead of time because they just know it's going to be great! They start planning and making their gift wish lists and working to get on the good list.
Of course, the conversations and events are hilarious, and nothing goes as planned. In the end, they realize that their friendship is the best gift!
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book was adorable. It was a very fun and quick read. This is sure to be greatly enjoyed by kids and continues the great series of Taco and Pizza.
Pizza and Taco are so lovable and make a great team. They're gentle and appropriate for preschoolers, but still entertaining for elementary kids. I will continue to buy the series.
Thank you NetGalley for the ARC.
My students are going to be over the moon for another Pizza and Taco book and this one does not disappoint! Full of silly moments and antics, Pizza and Taco write their Christmas lists for Santa. What will they get? You’ll have to read to find out!
This was a really cute holiday addition to the series. Pizza and Taco spend some time (in September) thinking about what they want for Christmas and make a LONG list. Then they realize they have to make sure they get on the nice list and learn that being nice is hard. The end has a message about appreciating what you have and your friendship. I think any kids that have liked any of the previous books in this series will also like this one! Also, Santa Slaw- hilarious play on words!
Thank you NetGalley for this advanced readers copy! This is an enjoyable graphic novel for kids to enjoy. The illustrations and the story are great!
The next Pizza and Taco book has them looking forward to Christmas! They try to be nice so that Santa Slaw will bring them everything they want. The day of, they didn't get everything they wanted, but eventually realize their friendship is the best gift. Cute!
thank you, NetGalley and random house for an advanced copy of the newest addition to the pizza and taco universe. my third grader and first grader both read this book and gave it rave reviews. Our schools book fair always sells out of the pizza and taco books and my kids were lucky enough to get to meet the author at their school. We will continue to read these silly books!
