Thank you NetGalley and Shain Rose for the chance to read this book
I only have 4 words… I love you Dex.
That is it.
With no spoilers, there’s parts that make you sad, but in the end you love Dex.

My first Shaun Rose book and I think it fell flat. Of course a heartbroken billionaire casino owner and his ex-girlfriend contracted to sing at his casino with a fake engagement sounded like a great book idea but it did not deliver to me. Dex was sending mixed signals that I could not keep up, Kee was not a standout FMC.

Overall, the book is written well with an interesting plot. Lots of angst, heartbreak, controlling emotions, spice, and suspense. I was incredibly excited for the third installment of the Hardy Brothers featuring Dex. He’s always been dark and mysterious. I did enjoy his story but the love component fell short for me. It’s obvious that Keelani’s weakness is Dex but also, it’s the strength that he gives her, to be strong. I’m not a fan of virgin MFC’s so that was slightly off putting to me. The whole book felt chaotic, between the stalker plot, her record label, and the feelings between Dex and Keelani. The first 40% of the book, I debated if I wanted to even finish. I pushed through and found that the rest of the book was more enjoyable. If you like morally grey, touch her and die, second chances, and virgin tropes, then this book is for you. So far, I love all 3 Hardy brothers! I cannot choose who I like more, though Dex’s possessiveness was spicy!!! 4/5 spice and 3.5 star rating.

Kee and Dex had a forbidden romance that needed to be hidden for Kee's career. After a tragic accident, Kee needs to break Dex's heart to save her career and help her family's finances. Now, years later, Kee and Dex's paths cross again, although now Dex is a billionaire who employs Kee as a singer at his casino and apparently hates her and has not forgiven her for breaking his heart. When he finds out that Kee is engaged to a man she doesn't love, he forces her to be engaged to him instead. Old feelings arise again, but will Dex ever forgive Kee for what she did to him - will they be able to move on from what happened?
I had trouble understanding why Kee never forgave Dex for saving her life. I know it created some problems with her career, but it's her life! I imagine she should have felt grateful. I was also thrown off by the love-hate relationship between them. One minute he's saying that he hates her, and then literally on the next page he's saying he's the only one who gets to marry her. There was a lot of constant back and forth between them on whether this relationship was temporary or for forever, real or not real. Sometimes, it felt like they just kept having the same conversation over and over again without resolving anything and saying the same things again and again but just with different words. It was frustrating because it was like, "didn't they just go over this?" The back and forth gave me whiplash.
This book was a second chance romance with 50 Shades of Gray vibes. Dex is definitely an alpha-male overprotective, territorial type. This book was definitely very steamy with lots of spice.

"Between Never and Forever" by Shain Rose offers a captivating second chance romance between Keelani and Dex, navigating the complexities of love amidst fame, tragedy, and revenge.
The storyline, rich with tropes like second chance romance, forced proximity, brother's best friend, touch her and you die, billionaire and fake dating, kept me engaged from start to finish.
Despite Dex's somewhat unhinged pursuit of revenge, the undeniable chemistry between the characters made their journey back to each other both compelling and satisfying.
While part of a series, this book stands strong as a standalone read and with its blend of drama, romance, and a hint of spice, "Between Never and Forever" earns a solid four stars, leaving me eagerly anticipating the next installment and the potential spotlight on Dimitri.

Dex and kee have my whole frigging heart. I absolutely loved keelani journey to be self confident and stand up for what she wants. My girl was too giving and forgiving. And dex??? Ugh a dream. He can spoil me too!
I read this book in one sitting it had the right amount of suspense, plot and steam!
Thank you so much for this arc!

Honestly I’m conflicted! By the end of the book I liked it, however the first half of the book I wasn’t sure I wanted to finish reading!
Their behaviour when they met again in their 30s is too juvenile, Dex is upset for everything that happened and wants nothing but get over her and then goes onto force her into a fake engagement because he could not see her with another man! (Ugh!).
On the other side Kee has let the label and her dad walk all over her in her personal life and with the money she should be making as a singer, all to the point she almost has no money!
On top of that, at 32 Kee is an inexperienced virgin (please!) and of course when Dex finds out (awfully by the way) and only then he decided to be softer with her.
After that when Dex truly decides to get his head out of his … the story gets better.

Dex and Keelani grew up together and due to singing career grew apart. She kept in touch with her best friend Dimitri. Dex and kee love story was always there but due to her career they has a lot to go through I love how dex pushes her get what she wants and how protective of her. She was only doing the contract do help her family out due to health issues with her mom.

I really loved reading about Dex and Kee and absolutely flew through this book! I LOVE a good second chance romance and the tension was good! Dex is HOT (hello piercing) and protective. This won’t be my last book from this author! 😍

It felt so good to finally be able to read this book after the anticipation!! And this book didn't disappoint!
I am so drawn into the world of the Hardy Brothers series, and this book captivated by the intricate web of relationships and emotions that Dex and Kee navigate throughout the story. I loved Kee's journey from a young, talented singer signed to Trinity Enterprise to a woman facing the consequences of her past decisions!!! The forced proximity between Kee and Dex adds a layer of tension to their interactions, fueling my curiosity to see how their relationship will unfold.
As the story progressed, I was swept up in this book so deep and this book follows the second chance romance (which is one of my favorite tropes ever!) between Kee and Dex, rooting for them to overcome their past misunderstandings and find happiness together!!! The marriage of convenience trope adds a twist to their relationship, creating a dynamic that kept me engaged and eager to see how Kee and Dex's feelings for each other will evolve.
However though, I did have some criticism, because as I delved deeper into the plot, questions rose in my head about certain aspects of Kee's character and circumstances. Additionally, Kee's lack of control over her finances raised concerned about her agency and independence, sparking a desire to see her empowered and in control of her own life.
Overall, this book kept me engrossed in the story very well, made me totally eagerly turning the pages to uncover the twists and turns of their journey towards love and happiness.

"You've always been my girl, my girlfriend, my future wife. Nothing less. Don't you get that? I promised you forever, Kee"
This book is part of a standalone but i love how all the other series are interconnected with it, bringing a whole range of past characters together. with some of my favourite tropes: childhood sweethearts, second chance, fake engagement that turns real, i was so excited to read this and it did not disappoint.

I read this book, to cover in one sitting
Well, this is book 3 in the series I was not lost at all… I loved Dex. At times I was so mad at Kee, for leaving him heartbroken.
She did redeem herself in my eyes
I am off to binge read books one and two, this is my first book by this author, and it will not be my last!

I loved this book! The storyline was perfect and I could not put it down. The romance was so perfect.

Kee is a singer and a star. She signed with Trinity Enterprise when she was just 17 and they have owned her ever since. Kee's mom had a stroke and early onset alzheimers while her Dad was a gambler. They needed money to provide care to her mom so Kee kept entering bogus contract deals with her record label.
Kee grew up next to the Hardy brothers with Dimitri being her best friend and Dex being her first love. Everything changed after a night of drinking and they got into a car accident along with their friends Gabby and Kyle. Kyle died that night and Gabby was left in a coma. Kee was forced to walk way from Dex, flee to Nahville and enter a fictitious relationship with fellow singer Ethan.
Kee and Dex cross paths 3 years later, but nothing has changed and they again go their separate ways.
Now another 12 years later Kee is still with Trinity Enterprise, but the Hardy boys have all become moguls and are Billionaires. Dimitri gets Kee a 6 month lucrative contract to be the headliner at their Las Vegas Hotel.
Kee and Dex are one again forced together. Kee now enters a fake engagement with Ethan but Dex is having none of that and gets Kee and her label to agree to her being engaged to him instead.
Now this is where you lose me. They are finally together and we learn that Kee is a 32 year old virgin. I just can't with that. She says it's because it's always been Dex but 32 come on. Also why didn't she take control of her finances and continued to let her Dad handle things??? Would have rated it hard if not for these things.
Thank you @netgalley and @pageandvine for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Shain Rose is a new to me author and now I want to read everything!
Keelani is a raising star in the music industry when at the age of 17 they send her away leaving her first love behind. We get to see them at 17 in their early twenties then in their early thirties where the book takes place. Dex is heartbroken and throws himself into a highly successful career in tech.
I love the way the second chance romance played out. Super steamy! I couldn’t put this one down.
If you have read Shaina’s work before there will be a lot of characters you know.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Wow. I’m not 100% sure what I expected from Dex and Kee, but this blew me away. Dex is Cade-level crazy and Kee is a mix of wild and considerate.
As usual, the author creates this world of trauma and healing. There are elements we can all understand and resonate with, along with the billionaire lifestyle that most can only imagine. Shain Rose’s stories are always a wild ride that I’m happy to climb aboard. My heart broke and soared for both of the characters.
Dex was this regimented, hard, protective, and passionate man. He was ruthless but giving at the same time.
Kee was a woman trapped by circumstances and loyalty. She had talent and drive, but was molded into something that drove her from the love her life. It was heartbreaking.
To see them come together and work through so much, it was amazing. I adored how when Dex decided he was all in on Kee, he didn’t waiver or prevaricate. He was clear and honest and did not hide his feelings behind a smoke screen to save his heart. It was magic!
I can’t wait to read more from this author!
I received an arc copy, and this is my honest review.

Between Never and Forever has some of my favorite tropes: enemies(ish) to lovers, childhood sweethearts/second chance, possessive MMC who isn't afraid to go for what he wants, and the micro-trope of being jealous of the FMC's truly purely platonic best friend (and they get to give him grief for it).
Secrets come between them, time can't dull their flame, and they both have to work through their hurt and anger over how things ended when they were young. Tension ensues, QUICKLY.
I loved Kee's journey of finding herself and breaking out of the mold of her "brand." Dex is BEYOND hot and now I need to go back and read the first two books in the series.
Thank you to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op, Page & Vine and NetGalley for an eARC for my honest feedback.

Okay, where do I begin?
I've read the first two books and loved them, and when I had the opportunity to read this one, I was so happy!
In this book, we are following Dex and Kee's story.
We've got so many good tropes! Some best friend’s brother, with some fake engagement, and a second chance with a really overprotective male lead. What more could we be asking for ?
I was bawling my eyes out during half the book because their story was so frustrating sometimes. They deserved so much more than what life gave them, but they were so strong. I was feeling pity for Kee. Like, how can you be so good with people and accept the hell you've been put through for it like this?
I really loved how Dex was overprotective of her, and how she felt about that...👀
Dimitri's relationship with them was everything! He was a devoted friend to Kee and a perfect and stubborn brother to Dex!
I think I won't ever forget this book and their relationship.

Obsessed. Obsessed. Obsessed.
Dex is my FAVORITE Hardy brother (and honestly, I didn't think anyone would outdo Dom), and his relationship with Kee was soooooo good - I'm a big sucker for second chance tropes and this was *chef's kiss*.
I'm already contemplating a reread (and I just finished 5 minutes ago) because I loved this story THAT much!

Keelani and Dex’s story is one that spans years and one that is not easily put into words.
Their love wasn’t enough to save them in high school and when given the opportunity love might be the thing that breaks them when they are given a second chance. Keelani has secrets that were at the heart of driving them apart and now Dex had the opportunity to get the truth and he is not going to let anyone or anything get in their way again.
My poor heart was torn into shreds while reading this book because there was so much pain and yet Shain pieced it back together as Keelani and Dex found their way and started healing. It was so beautiful to see the fam rallying around each other and helping these two find their HEA.
