I really enjoyed this book! The romance was amazing and very well developed. I really enjoyed the plot as well.

Absolutely adored this story.
I first fell in love with the dedication page, it truly warmed my heart.
The story is of two lovers pulled apart by a secret the woman was to ashamed to tell to the love of her life. 6yrs later they come across each other in the midst of an attack.
the author takes us on their journey of rediscovery, hardship and love.

This was a wonderful read. I loved that our MMC and MFC knew and cared for each other as teenagers . I adore how they came back together because it felt really natural for their situation. It makes me happy to know that they will be going on adventures together and that they get their hea. This really was a wonderful read that takes you back in time .

It was a very good read, romantasy and a little bit spicy. I didn't appreciate the duel part, I found it a bit of a climb.
I hope it comes out in Italian too because I want to buy a copy!

I thought this book was very cute. Although it was short, it packed a lot different plots and storylines throughout. Niamh and Dallan were such a sweet couple, and I loved that this story ventured into topics that can sometimes be difficult to talk about.

This story has everything you could possibly want in a historical romance! As soon as I started reading, I was hooked and had a hard time putting the book down. If you enjoy second chances, passion, danger, intrigue and lots of historical background, this story is it.

Dallan's heart was broken by Niamh over 6 years ago when she rejected his proposal, little knowing the secret she held that made her decide to let him go. Now they find themselves in each other's company again and a tentative friendship develops between them and although both admit the love is still there, there is still the matter of the secret Niamh holds. My heart ached for both of them as they worked through their problems.

I have read many books by Sophia Nye and she never disappoints with her stories. Well written and kept my interest throughout.

This was the best book !!! It had all the things a story should have. You get a good share of laughter with a great story line to keep you reading with a good feeling till the last word. Please enjoy like I did.
