I'm cleaning up the books on My Shelf and reading what I can and reviewing it, and although I started The Pool Theory, I'm afraid I just couldn't finish it. The characters started out not too bad but as the book went along, I began to really dislike them and some of the actions they took. For that reason, I would prefer not to leave a review because I don't want to drop it's star rating by leaving a 1 star, DNF review. Thank you for the chance to read it, though.

My Amazon account was hacked and had to be closed. After creating a new account, I lost the arcs on the original account which includes this title.

Unfortunately, this book wasn't for me. I was very torn while reading it, but it fell flat ultimately. I was hoping the the ending would redeem the story, but it was abrupt and left me wondering if I had missed something.
