This book is exactly what it says it is - an introduction to the characters in The Ghost Bird Series. Sang is new to the neighborhood and the high school and comes from a very difficult home situation. One at a time she meets a group of boys her own age (16): Kota, Victor, Nathan, Silas, Gabriel, Luke, and North. They befriend her and take her under their wing. It's not until the end of the book that you get a hint as to what the plot of the series is going to be, but that was enough to make me want to continue reading. So basically, this book did its job - it sucked me in!

This was an very interesting book. Fast paced but it was hard to tell the timing- like how much time has past by for the character. It was fun and a little romantic.

My interests have changed since being sent this book. At this time I won't be reading or reviewing this title. Thank you.

For starters, the cover nearly turned me off reading this book. Luckily I chose to ignore it.
The writing style in this book really keeps the pages turning. Fast paced and gritty.
