Blood and Wrath is a fierce, fast-paced rollercoaster that sinks its claws in and doesn’t let go. Rumer Hale delivers a dark romance packed with electric chemistry, razor-sharp banter, and a simmering intensity that explodes across every page. The characters are gloriously flawed, the stakes are sky-high, and the tension? Absolutely delicious. With every chapter, Hale weaves a story of vengeance, desire, and the thin line between love and war.
Bold, brutal, and utterly addictive—Blood and Wrath is a must-read for dark romance fans craving a story that bites back.

Blood and Wrath by Rumer Hale is the second book in the Blood and Ruin series and it picks up right where the first book left off. I'll admit, the beginning was slow and didn't really hold my interest but the romance really made up for it. I had hoped to see a more complex plot and deeper characters in this book but didn't really seem to get that. But the romance was absolutely amazing. It's perfect for fans of why choose, reverse harems, possessive alphas, and shifters. I still think your one is definitely worth the read if you're looking for a really good romance with some fantasy thrown in.
The audiobook was fantastic! The narration was full of emotion and passion. The voices were excellent choices for this book.
Thank you to the publishers and netgalley for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

I was given access to this arc to read thanks to NetGalley. A fun romantasy. Great read. Would read more by this author.

I really enjoyed this book and the second installment in this series. The narration was fabulous and I was absolutely hooked!

“Blood and Wrath,” by Rumer Hale
Luna was taken away from her mates once again. They are determined to get her back at all costs.
I loved loved loved this book! This series so far has been so good. I loved the relationships and reverse harem/ fated mates between all the characters. I loved the twist at the end of book 1 and going into this book I was mad right alongside the main characters about it. I listened to the audiobook version and the narration was A+ and one of my favorite cast of narrators. The main character is strong and kind and smart, and she really resonated with me while reading. Can’t wait to start book 3! 5 out of 5 stars.
-Reverse Harem

Thank you for the ARC, Netgalley.

thank you to netgalley for the advanced reading copy. I really enjoyed this and will be getting copies for my shop.

The narrators were wonderful this sequel, I love is when they have dual narrators for stories. The story follows her and her alpha’s after they save her from the evil king. Along the way they found out her mother escaped hell in order to have her. While I love the story I can’t say this is in the top ten for me, it’s still a great read and worth reading, thought I’m not a fan of the Cliff hanger the story left on.

I can not tell you how much I love these covers. Whoever did the design of the trilogy did a phenomenal job, the soft with the harsh. Beautiful job. Let us talk story now. This is the second installment of the Blood and Ruin trilogy, and I am afraid it suffers from the middle child syndrome of trilogies. We pick up 6-years from where we left off in book one, the 5 alphas are searching for the lost Kierra who was imprisoned and is being hidden. Kierra was being tortured for a purpose, but we won't find that purpose in this book, she winds up saving herself due to her increased powers after the bond that was created with her 5 mates. Then she has to reconnect with the world and her mates, discover who she really is, and try to figure out why these demons are running amok. That sounds like a great plot, right? It would be better if we focused more on the story, however we focus more on the smut in this book than anything else. We do get the perspectives of our varying alphas, and the audio even has a different narrator for each POV (which is amazing), but we also have at least one sex scene for each of the mates. The focus doesn't seem to be on the growth of the characters but on the sex lives of our harem. Kierra has great potential to be a really amazing and strong character and hopefully, we can see more of that in the final book. Smut has its place, but when you start a story with an actual story, I hope we will move it along a little bit more.

It was so fantastic to read this book! I'm glad that I was able to pick it up right away after reading the first book, which I'm hoping to repeat for the final book. I was really anticipating finding out what was going to happen next to Kiarra and her mates!
Loved seeing where things picked up in this book, after the way things ended in Ruin, and I was on the edge of my seat, wondering how they were going to get out of this situation. I just had to read more, and see how they dealt with it!
One thing that I loved about this book was that we got the guys' perspectives. Which was really great, and helped me start to separate them in my mind, since we didn't get that much time with them in the first book, and being in their heads definitely helped with that!
The way things ended in this book was just as entertaining and enjoyable as the first book! The stakes are high in a different area-King is a threat that they have to take down, and that is definitely going to be difficult, given what he's done to her, and to others. I can't wait to read it!
Loved reading this book, and I can't wait to finish out this series!

I did enjoy this book more than book 1 but still feel like there are missing back story pieces and development.
The audio was great and I really enjoyed the narration though! I would give this 4 stars simply for the narration.

This book was archived before i was able to review it. i'm giving it a neutral rating based off of the description/title/cover.

3.5 stars. Blood & Wrath by Rumer Hale - Since this is book two, I won't give much away. I didn't enjoy this one as much as the first book. I think I prefer Kiarra's POV over any of the guys. When it's the guys POV, it just feels like a dick measuring contest(albeit dragon/shifter dicks). The story is still keeping me entertained, though, so I can't wait for the last audiobook!

I had the opportunity to read this on audio through Dreamscape Media. I am obsessed with listening to this series as I feel like it really comes to life (no pun intended) that way. We are taken back into the world of demons, witches and wizards through Kiara’s point of view. But in addition to her point of view, we get more of the guys’ points of view and I just loved them! There are a few more spicy scenes in this book, but they are done well and don’t take away from the plot of the book like others I have read. I really enjoyed getting to know the boys’ background more as well as how much of a badass Kiarra is.
Very much looking forward to book three!
Thank you to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to read this in exchange for my honest opinion.

This was book 2 of a series that I really hoped I would enjoy. But, I didn’t finish book one, so didn’t try this one. Thanks for the opportunity though.

I liked the progression of the story and characters from the first book. And the slow burn finally started to pay off. The narrators were great as well.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for sending this book for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
Blood and Wrath is the continuation of the Blood and Ruin series by Rumer Hale. In this installment the guys must find their mate again. She has been kidnapped and is being held in a moving location while they hunt her down.
This was a good continuation of the first novel. I definitely enjoyed it and their connection grew stronger. The main event however is the main character unlocking a new ability she never knew she had before. It was interesting learning more about her and her background. How she grows with her mates is so great.
I can't say much without giving away a lot from the first novel. It feels like an filler novel with the center of the main character figuring out her new abilities and her new world that is opened up to her. I would recommend this series to my romance lovers.

3.25/3.5 ⭐️
I really enjoyed book 1 in this series. I felt like as someone who doesn’t read a lot of fantasy there wasn’t a TON of world building, even for me there could have been more, but there was a story line and i was excited to see where it went in book 2.
I enjoyed the idea that the FMC was so close, yet so far and the concept of the dimensions and worlds that they were fighting against. Demons. Dimensions. Underworld. etc.
I felt like there was SO many POVs that sometimes it felt extremely repetitive because you got the exact same info and thoughts on the same subject before we could move on basically. I think a good RH is when you get different things from all POVs. I love smut as much as the next girl but i felt like book 1 had a lot of stress and suspense and so did the first half of this book and the back end of it but the remaining was like alllllll smut that felt out of place. Not only that you get this idea that their feelings for each other are just unable to be broken it’s the strongest pull that one has to another BUT i feel like we were shown smut scenes and that was it in the romance side of this book.
I will most likely continue into the series because i am interested to see where the next book goes in the action side of the story. This author does a extremely good job at ending on a cliff hanger to want to bring you back.

Although this book was better than the first book, Blood and Ruin, it was still not that great, in my opinion. The first part of the book seemed to drag on, but it did pick up a bit as it kept going. Unfortunately, the plot felt a little flat. I usually enjoy multiple POVs, and although Kiarra's POV was great, I didn't really care for the alphas' POVS. The writing also felt repetitive, and the pacing just felt a little off.
Thank you NetGalley for this read :)

I was right. This book got spicier! While I enjoyed the spice and the characters getting to know each other, I feel the plot kinda fell flat. While it was interesting and exciting, it also felt a bit disjointed. Im hoping alot of the plot holes get resolved in book 3.

Thank, NetGalley, Publishers Dreamscape Media, and the author Rumer Hale for providing this Audio-ARC. Which, I will be giving my honest and sincere review.

I don't want to spoil the first book for does, who haven't read it yet, so I will be a bit vague.
Kiarra is taken and her alphas are not happy about it, we will see a perspective on their side, their feelings and their efforts.
There's more development in the world and powers.
The book is fast-paced, with action after action, and the story evolves fast.
Some of this everything happened a bit fast but at the same time. we waited so much in the first book I'm not even mad. The Corn is corning in this book if you know what I mean.
