Again I am grabbing all the kids books to read and share with my daughter. This one looked really cute. I thought it was funny because work was so full of himself that he can find anything for everyone but then he couldn’t find his own hat. Our favourite part was when he found his hat and how.
We would recommend this read for everyone.
Thanks to Netgalley and NorthSouth Books for the complimentary copy.
I received an ARC of this children's book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
This book is adorable and I loved the pictures!
Cute book with worm searching for his hat and helping friends find their lost items.
There are also some pages that ask kids to find certain things to keep them engaged.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC
This is a sweet book about a worm who runs a lost and found office who loses his cap and has to rely on his friend to help him find it, it's a quick and easy read but a really fun one to read, there's even a challenge at the back to find different objects hidden throughout the book which would be definitely something fun to do with a child who's reading it and would give it a rereading element, the pictures are stunning and I love how they seem to move around the text rather than the text dictating where the pictures should go. It adds to the overall enjoyment of the book.
I was sent this e-Arc on Netgalley in exchange for a fair and honest review.
Worm's Lost and Found is about Worm, who runs a Lost and Found shop where all of his friends can find the things they've been missing. Worm loves his job and loves being able to help everyone, but when Worm loses his hat, he has to count on Seal, one of his best customers, to help him find it.
I love the illustrations in this book and how Worm's expressions are SPOT on to the text in the book. Seal is a great friend who shows Worm that problems can have multiple solutions. This book would be great for any kiddos who may be missing something and are really upset by it or anyone just looking for a fun book with two great characters!
My kids found this book to be extremely funny. The worm character and steps for finding things especially made them laugh. . The art was unique and nice, as well. This is definitely one we 'd pick up at the library if we happened across it.
A sweet and simple story about a worm who owns a lost and found shop, and then loses his beloved hat. A fun choice for younger kids.
Thank you to NetGalley and NorthSouth Books for my advance reader copy in exchange for my honest feedback.
I wanted this to be about fun things the worm finds and brings to his lost and found. Instead worm loses his own hat, barely looks for it, makes pancakes and then is back to work. This one missed the mark for me but I saw the potential it had. I received an advance review copy for free via Netgalley and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Our kiddos adore hidden pictures in books and this one won't disappoint. It's also a great reminder on how to find things you've lost! A good story with charming illustrations!
Such a cute story! I read it to my 5 year old and he was intrigued right away by the vibrant cover and it kept his attention the whole time.
This is a cute story about a worm who runs a lost and found shop. Some animals and the items that they come into the shop to find are a hedgehog looking for a lost pencil, a bird searching for an umbrella, and a centipede looking for a ring. Then, worm loses his cap and his best friend seal comes over to help him find it. The story is humorous with them even standing on their heads at one point to gain a new perspective.
The illustrations are colorful and cheery and add a lot of detail to the story. There are lots of items on the shelves in the lost and found shop and a “find the hidden pictures” option at the end of the book.

A cute story about losing things - I really saw myself in this one. So funny and accurate!
I wish my parents read this one to me one I was a child!
Cute draws and easy pace!
This little picture book is so cute. Worm runs a lost and found so you can imagine his panic when he discovers that he's lost his hat. Where can it be? He looks everywhere until he finally finds his hat by accident. A happy ending, so he can get back to helping everyone else with lost items. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this
This was an adorable title about losing things!
I thought the illustrations were so fun and well done. I thought the friendship between the worm and the seal was great, and there were lots of funny details to notice. I think kids will get a kick out of this title and the end with the images of other lost items to look for gives great re-read value to see if you can find all of the items!
Worm’s Lost and Found is a delightful story about a work who is an expert at finding things…until he loses his cap. Helped by Seal, Worm sets out to find his cap, and get back to business.
This was a really fun read. I loved the messages about learning to cope when things go wrong, and the fact that everyone needs some help/can provide help at different times. The illustrations were engaging and whimsical, and I loved the way children can join in to find missing objects- it reminded me a bit of Animalia.
I’d recommend this for anyone looking for a fun read with I spy elements and helpful messaging about coping with lost items to share with their child.
Thank you NorthSouth Books, and NetGalley for a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed are my own.
WORM'S LOST AND FOUND is a funny and delightful picture/text for young children presenting a couple of valuable lessons (adults could benefit too!😊) on friendship, patience, and finding one's bliss.
This was such a cute story to read. I think it teaches that when you least expect it you find what you have been looking for. Just like worm losing his cap and finding it once he was calm and even forgot about it.
Thank you Netgalley for giving me access to this great read.

Worm’s Lost & Found - Jule Welleriek
📖 This is a children’s book about Worm. Worm runs a Lost & Found shop and he loves helping people. When Worm loses something he’s unsure of what to do - luckily he’s got a friend to call on, Seal!
📚 I love that this book could be read in my classroom or at home. The illustrations are captivating and the friendship shown throughout is sweet. I also appreciate that Worm has different emotions when he’s lost something! Another fun aspect of this book is that there’s a seek and find that the readers can do as they read the book. I like this little bonus activity because it can help kiddos dive into the pictures and spend time enjoying the story over and over again.
🌟 If you have a student or child who doesn’t like to lose things or is a bit of perfectionist then this is a great book to read with them!
