I feel like I’m being punked.

Once I looked at other reader’s reviews I realized that I’m not alone.

I would never read this to young children, buy it for someone else as a gift for their child, recommend it to anyone, or recommend that this author write any more books.

The incorrect use of grammar, using capital letters at the beginning of each word, story doesn’t flow, illustrations are scary to children, etc !

I also think this was written in jest about something completely different if you read the words without looking at the illustrations.

I think this book was written with ChatGPT or AI.

I can’t say Thankyou to the publisher BooksGoSocial for this one and I believe NetGalley should pull it off of its shelves.

Well, this was a bit of a strange book. Each illustration was so different from the last. I’m not sure what the message was with so many different geese and foxes. The illustrations were bright and colorful, but just didn’t make sense to me. The story was also a bit jumbled.

NetGalley ARC APP review

I read this to my nephew (2) on the app. He was so engaged with the book, loved the pictures and was touching the animals in aww at them. This book was so colorful and fun to read. A bit of a play on words at times and can tie you up but he seemed to laugh at his auntie fumbling alittle with the rhythm of the words.
Great Easter read.

Thank you so much to Booksgosocial and Netgalley for the ebook to read and review.

I liked the story idea but it wasn’t done very well, a mother goose who is a strange and unusual goose with her strange and unusual eggs, we get no further story about how they were strange and unusual at all. A fox that comes and stares at the eggs wanting to take them but doesn’t, the goose then becomes fierce and protects her eggs, really erratically. That’s kind of literally all we get, nothing really more than that.

The cover was so bright and beautiful and it sounded like a sweet book but honestly it wasn’t, there wasn’t enough story, it wasn’t consistent and it’s such a shame as I wanted it to be good, it looked so cute. It had interesting rhyming and I suppose kids would find some of the lines fun to say but that’s about it.

The illustrations were awful, I hate saying that, but the cover Illustration was the only good one, the ones inside though okay yes bright and vibrant changed in every single page, the eggs changed colour and style and amount, the goose looked like a new goose each page and lost her unique strange look through most of it. I’m not really sure what was up with the illustrations at all, we also don’t have an illustrator listed so I really don’t know the situation.

I honestly don’t think this book was finished which I’m sad to say, it needed a lot more work and a full actual storyline. It could have been the most adorable picture book ever, shame it wasn’t.

This is a cute story about a goose protecting her eggs. The illustrations are very colorful and full of fun details. If you look closely you will discover the differences between colors and patterns of the eggs on each page. My favorite part of the book is the rhythm of the words on the page. It is perfect for preschoolers!

Thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Thanks netgalley for this arc in exchange for a review.

Exploring the charming realm of the Oogly Boogly Googly Goose, fiercely protective of her eggs, was a delightful experience. With Easter approaching, the book's timely theme adds to its appeal. I found it thoroughly entertaining, brimming with vibrant colors and captivating storytelling. It's a book I'll happily revisit with my friends babies.

A great alittle rhyming children’s book. Quite funny and the illustrations were colour and really grabbed my daughter’s attention. A great book about mother love and protecting her children.

Although the illustrations were good I will say at times slightly creepy at times.

Adorable bright illustrations and a fun story full of fun words. I enjoyed it.

I wish I could leave negative stars. This “children’s book” is a travesty. Some of the pages would fit better in a satirical horror about ai generated art.
The font was terrible for children.
The art style changed every single page
There was no story at ALL
There were sentences that were lies.
There were multiple pages where the goose had three visible nostril holes.
The details in the pictures were not there and when they were they looks like horrifying bug corpses.
This is not a book but a testament to man’s arrogance. Anyone involved should be ashamed.

A magical story written in an imaginative way.

Within a verdant meadow a goose lays her eggs; lurking in the same fields wanders a cunning crafty fox.

Even on natural history programmes this kind of scenario rarely ends well. However, no-one has factored in the love and devotion of a precious and protective Mother.

Speaks of life and a courage to confront. The love of a Mum read on Mothering Sunday was a real joy.

However, although colourful I felt the illustrations let the story down a little. In addition although the repetitive language adds a poetic dimension to the text it did not quite work for me in a cohesive fashion.

However much to talk about with your little ones and engage their creative minds. I warmly recommend.

"The Oogly Boogly Googly Goose" is charming and playful, just like its title suggests. The use of words is delightful, making it a fun read. However, the illustrations might be a bit too overwhelming for some, as they are quite busy and bright. Overall, it's a cute book that will bring a smile to your face, but be prepared for the vibrant artwork.

Special thanks to BooksGoSocial Publishing for making this e-ARC on NetGalley immediately available for reading.

Overall, it’s a very cute book!

It’s been awhile since I read a very young children’s book, so I’m a bit rusty on how to rate them.

I enjoyed the rhymes. Most all were very smooth and brilliant. Only once or twice did the rhyme feel a little stilted.

The drawings are very colorful with clear expressions, which will capture kids attentions and help them learn.

I like the little things here and there that kids will learn from reading this book.

But I was waiting for a twist? Or very deep meaningful lesson, but the one given was sweet but not as deep as I was hoping.

What a book! Some of the geese were a little scary to be honest but funny all the same. I loved the rhymes and the colors in this book. I definitely think my son would think it’s funny!

The Oogly Boogly Googly Goose does a good job of endearing the characters to the reader.
Unfortunately, kids today have opinions about everything and the goose in this book is scary.
The eggs with eyeballs are more that a bit odd, too.
I would buy this book for my library but hope that it will be updated.

Thanks NetGalley for the early read. My son and I were very confused about the illustrations. Almost every page is a different goose! The words were fine, but nothing special. The name of the goose was fun and there are great themes of standing your ground against bullies.

The illustrations in this sweet story are simply gorgeous. The bright colors and attention to detail will appeal to parents and children alike. It is a sweet story about a goose who has to protect her eggs from a sneaky fox. I don’t love the font that is used as it is hard to read especially on top of some of the pictures. Also, as an educator, the capital letters for the beginning of every single word really bothers me, as well as some of the, mistakes. But overall, it’s a cute story for little kids to enjoy.

My son enjoyed this book. It is beautifully illustrated and colourful so it kept his interest. The book is short so good for younger children.

I'm not even sure how this book made me feel. I know the illustrations were vibrant and cutesy. It felt like there was more story missing to me. I didn't understand it. Kids may read this like a picture book though.

Love Always, Catherine

Was this book attempting to be like The Dinky Donkey series? If so, it did not succeed. The pictures were certainly colorful, but this book needed more work before publication. The rhymes were clumsy and kept me from enjoying the story.

The thing that struck me about this is book is the fun bright illustrations and how sweet the animal faces are.
A rhyming story about the Goose protecting her interesting bright fabulous eggs from a fox.

Thanks to NetGalley and the Publisher for the ARC.
