One Year with Jesus by Kelsey Scism is a fantastic devotional for middle level girls. I would highly recommend this as a gift for your own daughter, relative or friend!

The book is organized into weekly devotions. The format really allows time each week for some reading, connected bible verses, application and prayer. Kelsey makes each week very relatable and written at a level that a middle level girl would understand and connect to very well. She has chosen very purposeful and relevant topics such as self-image, relationships, who God is, forgiveness, emotions, etc. Throughout the devotional Kelsey shares things from her own life and family stories as she discusses each topic. The “Think about It…” and “Pray about It…” sections each week, really bring each topic to into action. I have no doubt God will use this devotional in many lives. As I was reading through it, so many of the topics are still relevant to me as a grown woman and I can’t wait to gift this to my own daughter.
