Holy Shit. Holy Shit. Sometimes you're halfway through a. book and you just go 'If I don't start telling someone about this book now I'm going to implode' I loved the two ghosts in this story and watching Adam get to decide to start living again. I hoped against all fucking hope that Roland wasn't actually dead but in some terrible coma somewhere, right up until Cary Grant showed up. I fucked loved everything about this book and tore through it. I felt Roland's pain and Adam's and fucking Zoya's. Unreasonably good.
A ghost writer writing the coming out story for a ghost! A wild premise, but the final product has some surprising heart too. I really enjoyed Roland Rogers Isn’t Dead Yet. It’s a quick read with some really fun elements and a unique take on ghosts. Will you have to suspend belief and just enjoy it for what it is? Sure, but if you do it’s a good time. Thanks to Zando for the ARC through NetGallery!
The plot of this book felt very unique to me, I love LGBTQIA books and the addition of death adds a new element to me.
Samantha Allen does it again with a fabulous, super queer, weird book with such depth that I absolutely adored. I read this in one afternoon because like her other books I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for others to read about Roland and Adam and their story!
