Such a fun read! Highly recommend.
Many thanks to Netgalley, the author, and the publisher for my ARC. All opinions are my own.
Trey Austin is driving through a torrential rain storm when he loses control of his car and goes off the road. The only thing he remembers is being rescued by a woman who braves the storm to save him. She disappears and no one know who she was but she did leave a shoe behind. He takes to the internet determined to find his Cinderella. When she responds to him they begin a journey to capture their happily ever after.
What would we do without the angels in our lives? Maybe we can’t see or hear them, but I believe they are there. I loved this story and the folks who play a part in it. This is Marley and Trey’s story. How perfect are they for each other? I didn’t want the story to end because I enjoyed being with them and their friends so much. I received this book from NetGalley, but my opinion is my own.
This book has a feeling of a Hallmark Christmas movie in the making. While that is honestly not for me, there is absolutely no denying that Sharon Sala writes beautiful stories. Marley has so much spunk and believes so strongly in the angels that speak to her. Those angels lead her to Trey and if ever there was a man in need of an angel it is Trey. Of course, it would not be a story if he was not the person she needed too. She may surround herself with friends who fill the role of family but she is an orphan with no siblings. He might as well be too for all the love his parent show. They don't even realize they are searching for something more until the angels bring them together. The angels may have needed a little help from a confused GPS and a thunderstorm.
I absolutely loved his searching for Cinderella story right down to the little red shoe. After that with the exception of a few secrets and a royal creep this book is about love at the most wonderful time of the year. The love story is beautiful and full of the feels. I would recommend when you read this book, you will need to have the tissues ready.
You will want to share this book with loved ones and friends so they do can read about the angels among us.
Thanks to NetGalley and SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca for the opportunity to read this ARC.
I love reading books by Sharon Sala. There's never a dull moment in them. This book was really good. It had some suspense in it. It was also heart warming and romantic. I loved the ending. I'm grateful that netgalley and the publishers let me read this in exchange for an honest review.
This story is a very charming Christmas read. It is fun, sweet, a bit magical, with a dash of romantic suspense thrown in. Two strangers meet up by divine intervention, and then decide to make a life together. Usually I have a hard time with insta-love, but in this story it worked. Trey and Marley first meet when Marley saves Trey after he was in a car accident. He desperately searches for his savior (she took off without leaving her name), with only her shoe that had been left at the scene.
Once Trey and Marley meet they quickly develop feelings for each other.
Throughout the story you are introduced to the people who live in Marley's town and are her family. This story is as much about the care and love we have for the people who become our family as the love between Marley and Trey. Of course there are obstacles to overcome on the way to their HEA. Sharon Sala weaves an enjoyable, fun story with strong characters, and I definitely enjoyed spending some time with them.
Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks for the ARC.
This book was a Christmas themed storyline that was fast moving. It had a lot of drama. It was basically about two lonely souls that come together and save each other, literally and emotionally.
Marley is a strong ,Independent woman who talks to angels. She has lost her parents several years ago and sometimes feels very alone in the world.
Trey is alone. He is an only child whose wealthy, social climbing parents abandoned him to be raised by servants and schools.
When the angels direct Marley to drive a certain direction, she comes across a car accident. She helps save the driver by getting him out of the car that was filling with water. When the police and ambulance arrive, she leaves without giving her name to anyone. The only evidence of her even being there was that she left a 👠 behind.
This leads Trey to start and internet search for her that goes viral.
When they finally meet it's instant love. And that's where I take off one star. I believe there is instant attraction but not instant love.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
I want to thank Netgalley for the opportunity to review this book.
Love love this author. She's becoming a favorite of mine. Her stories are heartwarming and lessons comes from these novels as well.
I love this Cinderella style of story without it it being overdone. What better way of trying to find something or someone that lost something?
Pretty good if I say so myself.
I couldn't put this delightful story down until Marley and Trey told me their story.
I really couldn't stand that reporter lady. In my opinion, she's way too pushy and one sided person when there's two sides to this story. I don't like people like that and neither did Marley.
5 stars from me for a very enjoyable read. Christmas is the perfect setting for this book lol.
It's my favorite season of the year!
Very well written. I wished it didn't end so soon!
My thanks for a well written message that left my heart feeling full and satisfied.

I'll admit it up front--I'm a fan of Sharon Sala's novels, and her latest, Snowy Mountain Christmas, is another gem of a feel-good novel from start to finish, and aside from the location, it could easily have fit into her Blessings, Georgia series. If you're looking for a heartwarming holiday read, this is it, and it gets 5 stars from this satisfied reader.
Marley Corbett is driving home to Colorado from Arkansas, where she was collecting old family recipes to use at the inn she inherited--she's the fourth generation to run it. She drives right into a thunderstorm and is about to turn right at a fork in the road when one of her angels (yes, she's seen angels all her life) indicates that she should turn left. That's where she finds Trey Austin, who lost control of his car when lightning hit a tree right next to him. His car is off the road, lying on its hood, he's unconscious and trapped upside down and the water is rising--if tiny Marley doesn't do something and fast, he'll drown. She manages to get him out and up out of the ditch and calls for help--waiting in the freezing rain and trying to keep Trey out of the elements as best she can. When help finally arrives, and takes Trey to the hospital, Marley lets them take over, and is so cold and shocked that she returns to her car, unaware that she's left one little red shoe behind. And yes, this is most definitely a modern day Cinderella story, and I absolutely loved it.
Once Trey is back on his feet, he wants to thank the mystery woman who saved his life, but she left the scene before anyone found out who she was, so he takes to social media, looking for the gal who left her shoe behind, and his story goes viral, soon becoming a national obsession, but it's weeks and weeks of false leads until he finds her, and it's when he does that this Cinderella story just gets better and better--and that's even before Marley learns the secret he's been harboring for over a decade--and no, I'm not telling.
There's also some suspenseful moments in this novel as we discover that Marley has an evil, obsessed stalker who doesn't take no for an answer, and he's just waiting to catch her alone.
In addition, what a wonderful array of secondary characters Ms. Sala has created, and what a fabulous holiday read she's written. Told from multiple points of view, a literary device I've come to love, this is one sweet, charming, holiday romance, and I highly recommend it. Ms. Sala just might have you believing in angels too.
I read an advance reader copy of this novel. The opinions stated are my own.
Christmas, small town, heartwarming feels - must bring your own hot chocolate. A story of family, one loving and caring and one family who revolves around the adults. A story of hearing the angels speak, romance with a taste of Cinderella and a little intrigue. I absolutely adored how they had each others back, it wasn't just talk. A wonderful Christmas read to remind you of what family truly is all about. Thank you for the opportunity to received and advanced copy. I freely volunteer my honest thoughts and opinions. #SnowyMountainChristmas #SharonSala #SourcebookCasablanca #NetGalley

After a trip collecting local Ozark recipes, Marley Corbett begins the drive during a storm back to her Colorado lodge. Her longtime connection to angels directs her to save the life of Trey Austin from an auto accident. After waking up in the hospital, Trey discovers the only clue he has to his angel is the shoe she left behind. After returning home to Phoenix, he finds her through an online campaign. Trey ultimately moves to Colorado for her and tells her his secret identity as well as the neglectful upbringing he had. In spite of ...or maybe because of... Marley's and Trey's nonexistent/nontraditional families, their relationship blossoms quickly into one that is supportive and loving. They are on a fast track to being a couple with more moments to believe in each other. Is it too fast? Perhaps, but the relationship is one that both need and both will nurture as they become 'the one' for each other.
A charming Christmas read-
Thanks to Sourcebooks Casablanca, Sharon Sala and NetGalley for this ARC.
I love Sharon Sala's books and this one did not disappoint! When Harley rescues trey from drowning after a car accident on a back country road in middle of nowhere Arkansas, they can't get each other out of their minds. Trey decides to take to the internet to search for this mystery woman who saved his life. He finds his princess and their lives are forever changed. This is the perfect feel good Christmas romance book. Thanks to @NetGalley for the ARC of this book. I highly enjoyed it.
This is such a great cosy Christmas book that puts you in the feels. Was such a good read. I loved the romance between Trey and Hailey. This is my first book of Sharons that I have read but will be reading more of her books for sure.
Snowy Mountain Christmas by Sharon Sala is a modern-day Cinderella story. All of the characters, from the main to the minute characters, are unique. With an air of mystery, some danger, life-saving rescues, and almost redemption, the novel has many plots. However, there are some explicit open-door scenes that I felt were not needed to make this a good read.
Releases Oct. 8th. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
I am a Sharon Sala fanatic and enjoy all her various series. They are all quite different and this book reminds me of my favorite, Blessings, Georgia. It's a love story with a hint of mystery.
One minute, Trey Austin is driving through torrential rain; the next, he's being rescued from a car wreck by an angelic woman with the courage to brave the storm. Her face was the last thing he saw before he lost consciousness. No one got her name—but she lost one shoe stuck in the mud. It's Trey's only clue, so he takes to the internet, hoping against hope that he'll find his angel.
Just when he's almost given up, Trey gets a message from Hailey Beaumont, owner of a cozy bed and breakfast in Colorado, and he instantly knows he's found her. Without hesitation, Trey heads to the mountains to meet Hailey just in time to spend an unforgettable Christmas snowed in with his dream girl, who, when finally in front of him, is even more special than he remembers.
Just delightful! The blurb for the book really appealed to me and I am thrilled to have discovered this new-to-me author. It has everything one could wish for in a Christmas themed rom com and the Cinderella inspired plot was the finishing touch. Hailey rescues Trey on a snowy night, leaving only her shoe behind. Trey finally tracks her down and they end up snowed in together in a cosy inn. This literally ticks every box for me and I can’t wait to read more from this author!
I love Sharon Sala’s book and this is no different. They are just one of those authors you can count on. Cute Christmas story, perfect when you are feeling festive!
Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this arc!
I really enjoyed this book. It was a light quick and easy read. I loved that it was cozy. This was my first my this author but will not be my last. Can’t wait to read more by this author!
Snowy Mountain Christmas, is a refreshing change from some of the romance novels that I've read lately. Hardly any drama and the little bit that is included is funny as all get out. Trey has a lot of baggage from his childhood and meeting Hailey is a calm that he needs. She has no problem speaking her mind and putting people in their place when needed. She does not mince words. I laughed so much reading this. It is a definite reread for the future.
This book was a really cute low-key Cinderella story, and the whirlwind romance between Trey and Hailey was very sweet. The author created a really rich picture of everyone’s life while still moving the story forward, I felt like I could actually go up to Colorado and stay at Corbett Lodge it was so fully formed in my mind. However, at some points the dialogue felt unnatural or weirdly formal for two people who were falling in love (even if they were still getting to know each other). Overall though, the characters were really well developed and I was pleased with everyone's HEA!
