Title: A Duke of One’s Own by the Emma Orchard

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars

I received this book in exchange for an honest review via Netgalley.

Emma Orchard's "A Duke of One's Own" presents a captivating historical romance that is brimming with humor, elegance, and a touch of intrigue. Taking place in the alluring Regency era, this book captivates readers with its passionate love story and compelling plot.

In the summer of 1816, Lady Georgiana Pendlebury, known for her rebellious nature, finds herself drawn into a scandalous party by a deceitful acquaintance.

When a mysterious stranger offers assistance, she accepts, unaware of the impact it will have on her life. Later, she attends a house party in Yorkshire, where the Duke of Northriding, Gabriel Mauleverer, is seeking a bride. To Georgiana's surprise, Gabriel is the same man who helped her earlier.

As she navigates the event and tries to keep their connection a secret, she finds herself unable to resist Gabriel's charm.

Emma Orchard skillfully weaves a captivating story of love, mystery and(a lot of)flirtatious banter, captivating readers and entwining a charming romance between Lady Georgiana and the Duke.

A Duke of One's Own is sure to captivate fans of historical romance looking for a delightful and engaging read.

I'm not typically drawn to steamy books, but this one was so enjoyable that I couldn't put it down . Georgie and Gabriel were both strong characters, and I appreciated that their “romantic encounters” were equally driven by her as well as him.
