Tired of pursuing a career everyone else is chasing? Are you at a crossroads in your career and feel stuck? Do you believe you’re uniquely you to benefit the world around you, no matter what? Read Bring It Out if you want clarity on these questions (and more)!!

The book is a quick read with lifelong applications and impact. I say it’s a quick read only because each chapter addresses essential points we all wonder about or struggle with, and offers clarity and direction. I say lifelong applications because you’re going to go back to this book whenever you’re at a crossroads in your life - this book will help you go back to the fundamental principles of making wise, un-rushed decisions.

I have had the privilege of learning from Ben - he is my pastor, friend and former boss. Reading this book makes me so happy, as I see all his great teachings and life experiences so well summarized in this one book. To me, chapters 13 (re: comparison) and 15 (redefining significance) helped me hugely a few years ago - of course, back then this book did not exist, but his leadership wisdom as my pastor & boss influenced me greatly. Back then, I was at a crossroads in my vocation, mainly because I realized that my challenging and changing health conditions were keeping me from continuing life as it were. When I was struggling with my decreased capacity and associated it a decrease in personal/professional value, it was Ben that helped me see that I am still valuable, and God had plans for me in this new reality. Three years later, by God’s grace I am fully living out my vocational purpose, even in my very limited capacity - and I am content. Reading the book gave me so much joy, and reading these two particular chapters made me cry a little, as they gave me the opportunity to pause and look back and give thanks.

I know that this book will help any and all readers recognize what God has already been doing in their lives to bring out what He has planted in them - sometimes we all need a light shone on their paths to help see what’s before and around us, especially when we’re lost in the weeds. This book will do exactly that and more - because ultimately, Ben points us back to the God who knows what He’s doing, who created us with purpose and intention and LOVES letting us know about it too.

Direction. Vocation. A Calling. For Christ-followers, these are important ideas. Ben Pilgreen's book addresses these topics in fascinating, easy to understand ways. Mixed with real-life personal stories, "Bring it Out," explores how Christians can understand God's calling on their lives, move forward and learn how God's direction works. I highly recommend this book for serious followers of Jesus Christ.
