Grace Hamilton has written many series about the aftermath of a life as we know it event. She always has a great story to tell with great characters who must learn to survive the hard way. Every series is different, no story repeats, no recycled events. That alone is an amazing feat, but her stories are engrossing. Your attention is focus'd on how these people will get out of this alive, much less manage to live through the next disaster. I love her books and share them with all of my reading friends. Rising Anarchy is Book #4 in this excellent series. You could read each as a stand alone but they are so much better when you know the back stories of the characters.
