This was a really cute collection of stories in the WInx Club universe. I really enjoy seeing these little episodes of things that they get up to, and seeing their friendship grow and develop over the course of the stories. It's also interesting to see the conflict with the witches. Some of the side characters are pretty one dimensional at this point, but I imagine as the graphic novels continue there will be more effort put into developing some of them. If you liked the show, I think you would enjoy this.

I love these graphic novel adaptations!
Loved the show when I was a kid, had all the graphic novels in Italian and now I'm revisiting my childhood!
A must for whomever loves this show, kids and adults alike!

What a great continuation! In this volume, we get more backstory to how Bloom and Stella first met (along with the main villains and the love interest). I feel like this first part goes out of order compared to the cartoon, and I think I like the order of the show more.

We also get more development for the main groups friendship. I like that they can admit when they were wrong and work on growing their relationships.

Excited for the next volume!

Thank you Papercutz and NetGalley for providing me with this arc in exchange for my honest review.

As in the first volume, we get 3 stories with bright and colorful illustrations.

The first story is one I missed in the first volume, where we finally get to see how Bloom learned about and ended up at Alfea. We also learn that she’s a menace on a bike haha. I loved that in this and in the second story, we get to see lots of Kiko, Bloom’s cute and brave pet rabbit!

The second story is about Bloom feeling down, homesick and insecure. When she can’t draw anymore, the one thing she’s always been good at and her friends make fun of her, it’s too much and she goes into a dangerous forest after hearing about a Heron feather she can find there and that might help her draw. But the witches from Cloud Tower are there too and trap Bloom in a very unique way. Kiko gets help but it isn’t easy for her friends and the guys from Red Fountain (who are there for orientation), to find her! It does make Bloom realize something important about her friends :). And as in the previous story, Knut gets involved too but we know you don’t mess with fairies!

The third and final story has lots of romantic moments between the fairies and the guys from Red Fountain. But also lots of action when they and the witches from Cloud tower are at a swamp where they face a monster that literally came from a nightmare!
