Lovely book of affirmations and journaling ideas. Some of these prompts are not easy to deal with but are so helpful. I loved the pics of the quotes.
I liked a lot how this book presents each affirmation with a little story and an actual photo with the quote written on a card/piece of paper.
While this book is not giving tips and how to dos, it's a very peaceful and perfect way to practice self love in my opinion. If you actually read this book on a period of 90 days, I feel like it really makes a difference. 90 days are enough days to make an impact, but not to many, to make you feel overwhelmed.
Personally, I felt like this book really touched me on a personal level and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to practice self love without feeling like it's a tremendous task or like you are not doing enough. A little goes a long way.
I have followed Faith on Instagram for a while now so I was thrilled to see that she was releasing a book. Very motivational and inspirational, not necessarily self-helping. Lots of encouragement but not really a lot of practical how-tos. I actually still enjoyed her Instagram post pictures and motivational sayings most of all from the book, but it was good to get a little personal touch on the author and what she’s been through, how she has surpassed it, and how we can too!
I read this over a 90 day period on my iPad so I could fully take advantage of the layout and pictures. One of my favorite parts was the picture of the card with a quote on it after every day of reading.
I found this book, a very uplifting and positive way to start my day. Usually, I burn out on these type of books because they are meant to be read every day for a year, but this one was only 90 days and I found myself wanting more.
The stories and examples of the author’s own life were so inspiring. I want to buy a physical copy because I feel this would be a great book to reread at least once a year.
"Shine Bright Anyway" by Faith Broussard Cade is an inspiring collection of 90 uplifting messages designed to help readers acknowledge their wounds, embrace healing, and recognize their inherent worth. Drawing from her own journey of overcoming a traumatic brain injury, Cade pairs her heartfelt Instagram notes with encouraging reflections to help others navigate their own struggles. This beautifully designed book offers practical advice on self-care, gratitude, and self-belief, making it a powerful resource for anyone feeling overwhelmed or inadequate. It's a compassionate reminder that despite life's challenges, you are enough and deserving of joy.
A beautiful and inspiring book that motivates self reflection and empowerment.
Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
This is a great book. I loved the context given to the affirmation that is given. It is wonderful advice that any woman could relate to. Definitely a wonderful start to your day.
This is a lovely compilation of positive affirmations and saying to live your life shining brightly.
I really enjoyed reading about Faith's personal struggles, challenges and approach to finding joy. I loved how the affirmations weren't the run of the mill you see all over the place.
Sometimes you just want a friend to sit with you and give you a little pep talk that isn't overwhelming, but helps you shake off the doubt and uncertainty, and feel that maybe you can do this after all. This book is that friend. Each day is a page or so of simple, clear talk on a specific theme. Here are some snippets I particularly like:
From Day 27, Be Courageous: "Take one step in the direction of your future."
From Day 33, Breathing Room: "You deserve to be happy."
From Day 50, Stop the Worry: "Give yourself permission to relax. It will be okay."
The best part is that if reading a page still feels overwhelming, you don't even have to do that. You can just look at the photo for that day and read the short encouragement. Because let's be honest, sometimes that's all you feel you have in you, is to just look at the picture. And I think that the author would say that's just fine.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this eARC for unbiased review. This review will be cross-posted to my social media accounts closer to the book release date.
Thank you netgalley for an advanced ARC of this book
Reading this was Interesting but it was also a little book to help people with positive affirmations and also truths to start to evolve to become better.
This book did not teach me tho anything I have read in other books but it is a basic way of showing some personal development, which f0r some people is enough to give them that push forward ... but for people like me I prefer all9t more in pushing me forward.
This book will help people but it was not exactly for me but I appreciate it
Faith Broussard Cade is a joy to follow on Instagram. She shares her hard earned wisdom daily. She is an inspiration to many. Sharing her tough journey after an accident derailed her life and she had to learn to pivot on the path of life. She has founds joy and self forgiveness, how to take time for yourself without guilt and how to set healthy boundaries.
Her wisdom is boundless. This 90 day affirmation book shares daily essays and a beautiful photo with one of her affirmations on a card. This is a great book for yourself or to share with a loved one. You will revisit it many times and share the brilliance of Ms. Cade.
This was cute! I liked the little stories with messages and the photo that accompanies each day. I found this made it a nice easy read. The pictures were bright and simple and I liked that about them.
I absolutely loved this. I don’t read much nonfiction but this found me at the right time in my life. This was full of inspiration!
This is a beautiful book and I was inspired by each page. The author shares personal stories and her quotes in daily format. I was interested to see how the book came about and checked out her Instagram page for more details. I admire her strength! Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
This book started as a 15day self-love challenge from recovering from a traumatic brain trauma into a book of saffirmations that you are enough. Part I you. Are Enough, discuses telling your story, setting limits, knowing yourself, rewriting your story, embracing abundance. Part 2 "self-care" discusses ways of taking care of yourself. Including gratitude, taking time to play and replenish yourself. Part 3 concerns fighting fear and remains steadfast. Down-to earth explanations. Illustrations.
