I love a good opposites attract, and I couldn’t resist a buttoned up hero paired with a tattooed rebel heroine. I enjoyed the realistic dialogue between the pair, but both the hero and heroine acted out of character so much I got whiplash. This is the second book by this author I’ve tried and ultimately not connected with, so I think I’ll give it a pass for a while.
