I feel like this book was all over the place. There were ghosts which didn't contribute anything to the story, a troubled past, secrets, miscommunication that was solved incredibly quickly, and insta love. The romance was cute, but the book felt like it wasn't fulled flushed out. Also, I love nicknames in books but I couldn't stand that he called her Angel Eyes. There was a big focus on doing things the Texas way. A lot of it was very true and quite funny, but it was overdone.
