Oh I Loved this! This was truly a delight to read! I can't get enough tudor - and this certainly was satisfying. Really liked the love interest in this one, and there are more in the series! I can't wait!
Picking up immediately after the end of the first book in this trilogy, the historical novel about Anne Boleyn is excellent. I am glad I read the first book. It helped set the stage for this one.
I received a free copy from NetGalley. I guess I've read too many about the same topic/family. This one didn't present it in a new way or different light. And the names were often confusing. Not bad, if you haven't read anything on the Boleyns, if you have, I wouldn't bother.
Didn't feel like this was a particularly well written book and didn't enjoy the story.
One of the better Boleyn books. I liked the take on the time period.
The second book in a Tudor alternative history series, I have to admit I preferred the first in the series.
While this is quite a good story and certainly readable, from interesting historical theory it's now sliding in to historical romance territory. Not a bad thing, but maybe not what I was hoping for.
Not sure yet if I care enough about the characters to find out what happens next.
