Wow! What an exciting and suspenseful story! This book pulled me in right at the start and I simply couldn’t put it down. There seemed to be a lot of similarities to the film “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” and the book even gives a nod to the movie, which I appreciated. The ending was so different though! I got through this fast paced read very quickly and I’m looking forward to more books from Nellie Lamar.
Many thanks to NetGalley, Bookouture, and Nellie Lamar for the chance to read this book in return for my opinion.
2nd psychological thriller from this author and as always after an excellent first book you aporoach with excitement but almost wariness when ‘tis the 2nd
But I had no need to worry, another stomper of a book that has created a hard to forget main character ( Nurse Marley ) who is intent on major disruption in the lives of those she is pretending to help and nurture, she is a Nurse you don’t want to meet and definitely you dont want her to have you on her radar….
Loved the setting of LA and Beverley Hills….. the after problems of birth are something I know nothing of but the descriptions of Ava’s mental and physical well being were clearly indicating the struggles she was facing and were described brilliantly….and then along comes her saviour….except she’s the devil
Great story and narrative and loved the authors letter at the end where she explains the 2 part ending and how she struggled with it and without giving anything away I agreed 100% with it
Reader friendly writing and a force to be reckoned with in the thriller genre, roll on Book 3
A new author for me and what a brilliant read it was, fast paced thriller, story telling at its best with great characters.
I was on the edge of my seat throughout, a great page turner and what an ending! just brilliant.
Thank you to Netgalley and Bookouture for this ARC which I have no hesitation in recommending and I look forward to reading this author's next book.
This was a great book! It had a lot of different twists and turns, and constantly kept me guessing. I had no idea how it would all end, and I was definitely not disappointed! This book really kept me hooked from beginning to end, and I would recommend to other thriller readers!
This second book caught my eye because I read Nelle's first book and loved it. Plus, the title is intriguing. Being a thriller reader, I did not trust the nanny whatsoever. However, I did not expect twist after twist not only with the nanny but with all of the characters including Ava's mom! I did not see that twist coming! I also liked how the author incorporated the weather as a major problem/climax into the story. That allowed the story to move forward. Again, it was a great thriller! Loved the chance to read it and will highly recommend it!
This is a fast paced domestic thriller that grabbed my attention and didn’t let go! I read it so fast and was completely entranced by the story. Secrets, revenge, and heart pounding moments. I loved all the tension and cliffhangers! There are so many twists and I didn’t want it to end!
Thank you so much NetGalley and Bookouture for the arc!

This was a new author to me
I totally got engrossed and could not put it down. Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture for the opportunity to review.
A totally binge worthy book that ensured I could escape the real world for a few hours.
What a thriller!
So well written. This was such a fun read, with all the key elements of a successful thriller.
I really enjoyed the character development, and how eventually everything links up perfectly, especially the twist at the end!! That, I did not see coming! This was such a fast paced, suspense filled, thriller book, that has made me want to read more of this author.
All in all a fantastic thriller that ticked all the right boxes!
Thank you to the author, and NetGalley for the ARC.
I loved this book, it kept me on edge! Especially when it makes you question who you can and cannot trust.
I thought this book was great, it kept me reading for sure! I couldn't put the book down because I had to know what happened next. The only thing that might have made it better was not having as many characters/connections. I will say the ending was a surprise down to the last page. I think it was well worth the read.
Ok- so I wish this wasn't so similar to The Family Guest but unfortunately it had the same vibe.
I think it was still a 3.5 stars for me, just predictable for the most part.
I enjoyed getting to know the main FC Ava and seeing her grow as a person and a mom and become stronger and stronger. I only wanted the best for her, which I believe is Nelle's intention.
All in all it was page turning and I kept going back- but didn't exactly wow me!
Words can’t describe the roller coaster ride I was on with this book. I loved it from start to finish and this was one that I couldn’t put down. Highly recommended!!
Holy twists!! I thought I had this book figured out after reading the prologue and the first few chapters, but then Lamarr waved her magic wand and revealed all of her tricks and secrets. I had to stop and ask myself, 'what are the chances' and 'what the hell is going to happen next'? The author presented a clever spin on a familiar plot that had my mind reeling by the end. I could NOT put this book down! It was a fast, easy read that I finished within a few hours. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend!
Thank you to the author, Bookouture, and NetGalley for granting me digital access in exchange for my honest review!
The Night Nanny was a night treat for me! I loved picking up this book to see what diabolical trick the night nanny had next up her sleeve! While similar plots have been executed in recent books, Lamarr was able to put her own unique twist and spin on the story to create a psychologically thrilling masterpiece. Bravo! Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review!
Ava had a baby called isa and she forgot a lot of things
So when her husband called Ned said we will get a night nanny
But when the Nanny accuses me of leaving Isa on her face
She thought that something had happened
I had an ARC
Yet another amazing book by Nelle Lamarr!
It had me gripped from the very first page and absolutely did not disappoint.
Loved all the twists, and the one at the end! Phenomenal!
What a riveting read - so many twists and turns, absolutely loved this book. I could not put it down and read it in a day.
Highly recommend this - edge of seat thriller.
This fast paced and suspenseful thriller kept me on the edge of my seat with its many crazy twists and turns, I figured some but most of them were unpredictable.
If you’re a fan of Freida McFadden you will definitely love this easy to read, popcorn worthy book.

Thank you to Netgallery and the publisher for this ARC. The publication date is the 13th May. Wow, what a book I devoured it in one sitting! It had a suspenseful and addictive plot the character of the Nanny I thought was strange from the very start.
This was such an easy read with many different twists at every turn I thought I guessed what would happen next but I was so wrong! One word to sum up this book ‘unputdownable’ I’d highly recommend this book if you want a nail biting thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout! 😊
What a ride! This book had me from the very first chapter. Twist after twist after twist! This is one of those books you can’t wait to recommend to your friends.
