This is an important and eye-opening book about the ongoing gun crisis in the United States. One after another after another, the author describes events and victims, happening so quickly that there isn't enough time to recover before there is another tragedy. The perpetrators tend to be the same kind of people and many advertise their intentions beforehand, but not enough is being done to put a stop or even slow down this parade of grief.
Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this.

One story after another concerning people who have been killed or severely injured by gun violence. I would pick a different book to read.

Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read and review this book. Fraga lays out a detailed and informative history of mass shootings in America in the first half of the book, along with the different reactions they have caused. He highlights the evolution and compounding events at times that the shooters and victims have experienced. The second half of the book was a lot denser to get through as it focused more on the legal back ground of the right to bear arms and how ingrained it is in the US legal history and system. It was a very well researched book and definitely interesting to read along with the different perspectives offered.
