This pov story was so full of twists and turns. Such a pageturner full of misdirection . The bride to be was spot on the complwexity of characyer played out over the story. The reveal felt perfect so far away from my own thoughts.

Mysteries and secrets abound in this psychological thriller. All Brynn wants is to get married in 30 days but life is never that simple. There’s a mysterious woman wanting to ruin things for her.
This was a fast paced book and kept you on tenterhooks. I couldn’t figure out who “the woman” and I was tempted to cheat and check the ending. However, I stayed strong and waited for the reveal and what a twist it was.
L G Davis is a new-to-me author but I’d definitely be interested in the second book in this series.

Oh Snap!! Another psychological thriller thanking my lucky stars I’m and nowhere near ready to get married!!! LG Davis’s latest The Woman At My Wedding is incredibly twisted and will have your head spinning at the end of it. Oh and if you like this one just wait she has a follow up sequel to it as well. It is fast paced and an addictive read.

After the prologue each chapter will have you counting down the days to the big wedding. There are a lot of ups and downs and twists and turns trying to get to the alter. Not to mention some dark hidden secrets that are shockers when they come to light.

If you are looking for a book that has an unpredictable ending then this is it! Plus, if you liked this book she came out with a sequel to it as well. She gives us a little sneak peak of that in this book as well.

A psychological thriller, full of twists and turns that keeps the reader engrossed in the tale. The main characters seem at first to be mundane and average but as the plot progresses they become more complex and interesting,

Heart pounding thriller that left me on the edge of my seat. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one. Definitely one of the best books this year.

Unfortunately, L.G. Davis failed to impress me. The whole narrative didn't work for me, it didn't keep me intrigued in the way I was hoping. Honestly, the characters' dialogues could have been better executed and the development of the narrative ended up delivering its conclusion before its time. I think this book will work best for readers who are just starting their journey into the world of thrillers.

While it seemed a bit slow sometimes and I did guess who the woman was, there were twists upon twists at the end that really shocked me ! It was an enjoyable read,

Hmm…I loved the first 65% of The Woman at My Wedding. The final 35% left much to be desired. The dual POV and premise of the book held so much potential I was reading this with high anticipation.

But when every plot twist in the book is revealed during a conversation in which the main character pretends to still be passed out, it definitely docks my review a couple stars…..

The characters were generally enjoyable. The way that Brynn and Nathan spoke to each other took me out of the story a few times. “My future husband”/“my future wife.” Utterably UGH!

90% of the story felt like the author was holding back most of the important details, just to spill them all out in two or three conversations. Like, I said, I absolutely loved the premise of the book. It just unfortunately fell short of my expectations.

This is the first book in the broken vows series. I loved the setting , I love Florida having been there myself. This book is all about revenge. It was just a bit too slow for me. Having said that I would still read anything this author writes.

It's been awhile since I've read an LG Davis thriller and once again she does not disappoint. Fast becoming one of my favourite authors, Liz throws red herrings and misdirection our way to steer us off the path. And yet while there are plenty of smoke and mirrors, I honed in on who I thought was "the woman" from the very start. Considering I've been in a reading slump for a couple of months, this was like a breath of fresh air and a welcome change to the monotony of others I've found of late.

Fans of Daniel Hurst, Shalini Boland, KL Slater and Freida McFadden will delight in this domestic tale of bliss to woe with plenty of twists, lies, secrets and deception to keep readers entertained.

Brynn is approaching forty and has finally met the man of her dreams, thirty nine year old attorney Nathan. The pair met, fell in love and Nathan bought Brynn a stunning beachside house where she now lives in the weeks leading up to their wedding. Meanwhile, Nathan is away working on a trial that could make him an even bigger household name. That of Amanda Lane, a woman accused of murdering all three of her wealthy husbands.

While he works right up to the wedding, Brynn remains at home organising their wedding...but someone doesn't want their nuptials to go ahead. Brynn begins receiving strange messages in the form of a wedding cake topper in which the bride's face is smashed. Her wedding veil goes missing and is later found buried on the beach. Then her dream wedding venue is cancelled. The photographer backs out. Her custom made shoes from Italy are ruined with red paint. Who would do such a thing? Who hates her that much to ruin her wedding?

And then a face from Brynn's past arrives on the doorstep, dragging her fully packed suitcase behind her insisting she's there to help with the wedding preparations. But why is she really here?

When the wedding day finally arrives, you won't see what's coming and the author deftly derives a devious plot that's so cunning and deceptive that will leave your head spinning.

As is Liz Davis' style, the pace moves from steady to fast to frantic as the climax nears, with that final twist to spin everything of its axis. I was turning the pages at the speed of light to see what happened next. As with most of her books, I thoroughly enjoyed this one and can't wait to dive into the second book "The Missing Bridesmaid" which can only be read after this one as the plot to this one ends of something of a cliffhanger that can only be resolved in the next.

Off to read it now...

I loved the way this book kept me guessing and with lots of twists and turns along the way. I did find it just a bit far fetched, but the final twist wrapped it up nicely and left me wanting to continue on to the next book.

Never in a million years did I expect the ending in this book! Well done to the author for planting red herrings that totally took the focus away from the actual culprit. This is the first book in a series and I will definitely be looking for the rest of the series to read. A wedding is being planned, a fiancé is working on a high profile murder trial and friends are hiding secrets, but who is hiding the biggest secret of all? You’ll have to read it to find out! This book is extremely well written with vivid descriptions that really set the scene and kept me on the edge of my seat. The cover and synopsis suited the storyline perfectly.

OMG!!! MIND ABSOLUTELY BLOWN!!!!

I absolutely love, LOVE, LOVED this absolute page turner!! This book is extremely fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. It was one of those true gems where if you had to put it down you had to race back as soon as you could to find out what was going to happen next. The plot is unique which is always a bonus after reading so many psychological thrillers. The storyline is absolutely ram packed with mystery, deceit, secrets, lies, romance, tension, loss, heartache, suspense and OMG the twists just kept on coming again and again!!! Just when I thought everything that could happen had happened BOOM there was another shocker around the corner. Every time I kept telling myself one more chapter the one I was in ended at a point where there was no way I could stop reading so I absolutely devoured it in one sitting!! I WAS absolutely blown away and considering I read approximately 30 books a month that is certainly no easy feat so a HUGE congratulations on that Liz!! I absolutely love how the book reads like a countdown to the wedding day and Liz weaves the chapters from the multiple protagonists together at perfect timings. This is one of those fantastic books that have a small group of characters but those characters you are constantly left doubting and questioning as you have no idea who has done what, who is hiding what and what they are really after. I just did not want to put this book down as I just had to know what was really going on and I never could have come anywhere near to working this one out!!! I absolutely LOVED how it ended and I cannot wait to get stuck into the next book in this fantastic series which is called 'The Missing Bridesmaid' and I am actually off to read next so keep your eyes peeled for my review of that which will be coming soon!!! I really could not recommend this book any more. If you are looking for something unique, filled with suspense that will leave you guessing and that will blow your mind then this is definitely the book for you!!

I wasn't just 100% invested in the storyline but also in the characters. Each and every one of the characters were well defined, realistic and strong. Unfortunately I am not going to be able to say much at all about them as I don't want to run the risk of giving anything away. I loved that we got to see what was going on through both Brynn and 'the woman's' perspectives and L.G. Davis does an amazing job building their characterisations, personalities, strengths and weaknesses throughout the pages ensuring they come to life in front of the readers eyes. Needless to say they all worked perfectly together to make this page turner as amazing as it is!!! I am definitely looking forward to meeting up with a couple of them in 'The Missing Bridesmaid' as I cannot wait to see what they get up to next!!!!

Brynn is counting down to her big day, and each chapter tells us how much longer until the wedding.

Someone is targeting her. Sending her odd messages. Strange gifts. Then Debbie shows up. Her husband's mother she says. Debbie is all southern belle but seems a bit twisted and odd. She doesn't tell her fiance Debbie has arrived and tries to hide her from everyone.

Let me say I LOVE when I cannot figure out a thriller, and this one had so many "suspects". I kept thinking I had it, but each time I did not.

I found the audio narration very entertaining!

Wow..I was shocked at the plot twist in this book.

Brynn is getting married in a month to a handsome, wealthy attorney, Nathan. They met and fell in love pretty fast, and now their wedding is just around the corner. Brynn can't believe her good fortune, she had a bad childhood and never thought she'd find love.

Nathan is in the middle of a murder trial, the woman he's representing is being blamed for killing her last 3 husbands for money. Brynn has been busy planning their wedding throughout the trial. When an unexpected visitor from her past shows up at the house, Brynn has no choice but to welcome her.

When Nathan loses his case two days before their wedding some of Brynn's past is exposed. Will he call off the wedding? Or does he enact his own revenge?

A must read!

What a twisted story this is. It begins 30 days before the planned wedding of Brynn and Nathan. As the days pass, more twists and secrets emerge Great book and as it is the first of a series, I cant wait for more.
