A delightfully twisted tale!!
I suspected everyone in this book.
Things just didn’t add up and turns just everyone has a secret or two.
The beach house sounded divine and I wanted to crash the wedding just for the ability to hang out at the house.
I can’t wait to read the next book!
Next time elope!!

What an explosive thriller with lots of psychological twists that you will not see them all coming. This is a story about Brynn and Nathan and how they are about to get married but he has to go away for a trial, the trial of his legal career. Mean while Brynn is home getting everything ready for their big day when suddenly Nathan’s estranged Mother shows up and that’s when things start to go very wrong.

"The Woman at My Wedding" by L.G. Davis is an enjoyable 4-star read! Brynn is engaged to Nathan, and she needs to make sure everything is perfect for their big day while he is away at trial as a defense attorney. Brynn must navigate what seems like an endless list of problems, starting with an unwelcome visitor to her house.

This story is told from the perspectives of Brynn and The Woman, starting 30 days before the wedding. It’s a quick read without a lot of character development. I wasn’t too surprised when The Woman is revealed, but the other twists were more of a surprise. I am looking forward to where they go next in the second book in the series.

Thanks to Bookouture, L.G. Davis, and NetGalley for providing me with the opportunity to read this ARC and share my honest review.

Brynn and Nathan are looking forward to their upcoming wedding. They met in Tallahassee, Florida where Brynn worked managing an art gallery. Nathan is a powerful attorney and son of a judge. They have purchased a home in Stoneview, Florida on the beach. Brynn is staying there handling wedding preparations while Nathan is in Tallahassee representing a widow in a sensational murder trial. Brynn has her wedding planner and another friend helping her with the plans.

Nathan’s mother, Debbie, is not a part of his life and he doesn’t want her anywhere near the wedding. So, when the woman knocks on the door with her suitcase, Brynn is taken aback as she tells Brynn that she has come to stay and help with the wedding. Horrified, Brynn knows she can’t push the woman out the door because she knows a dark secret about Brynn.

Brynn doesn’t tell Nathan that his mother is there and just tries to handle her herself. But when some strange things occur, Brynn doesn’t know if Debbie is to blame or something more sinister has come into play. She fears someone from her past is ready to destroy her life.

This book has lots of twists and turns as it takes the reader on a crazy ride. I admit that I didn’t care for Brynn and had questions on some of the other characters. All of these questions come together for an ending that is wild. Enjoy!

Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the eARC! L.G. Davis is back with another twisty psychological thriller. A quick read and the twists thrown in especially towards the end make you want to keep reading more. Some parts I found a little ridiculous/could predict the twist coming but I found myself wrong about parts of the twist which I liked. I am excited to get my hands on the second book to continue the story! 4.5 stars! Will definitely be recommending! Will post to my bookstagram on 6/13!

The Woman At My Wedding is the first in the Broken Vows series by Davis.

It's wedding countdown time and bride to be Brynn is beginning to cast aspersions on her guests, fearing that she's in danger and her dark secret has been exposed.

Told from various POV the story flows at a moderate pace and has some super twists and a surprising reveal awaits you at the end...I had no idea and found myself putting everyone in the suspicious category.

There are some great characters and some you just want to disappear, as quietly and as quickly as they appeared ie Debbie, the mother in law to be.

An entertaining and enjoyable read from Davis.

Wow, I could not believe the gall of Debbie and how she treated Brynn.
Brynn is getting ready to marry Nathan and they are using a wedding planner, who is a friend of theirs. Debbie shows up and Nathan hasn't spoken to his mother in years and does not want her at the wedding. Brynn says she won't tell Nathan as he is busy with a court case. Brynn's maid of honor is also helping out with wedding plans.
We also know there is a woman who is watching Brynn all the time and wants Nathan for herself and is out to ruin the wedding plans.
The ending has some twists that I did not see coming and one twist that I saw coming but with the wrong person.
I read this in one sitting and could not put it down.

The Woman at my Wedding is a psychological thriller that will have you asking questions and pointing fingers.

It is only 30 days until Brynn and Nathan tie the knot. Brynn plans to stay at their beach front home working to coordinate the perfect wedding. Meanwhile Nathan, a high profile lawyer is out of town wrapping up his biggest case yet. They plan to meet each other again at the altar. Brynn’s life feels like it’s finally coming together. She never dreamed she would have such a beautiful life. Still, she can’t help shake the feeling that everything she has could be ripped away at any time. She fears her less than perfect past will eventually catch up to her. These ominous feelings grow stronger as peculiar things start happening. First her estranged MIL shows up at her front door insisting to help plan the wedding. Then, theres the delivery of a threatening note. As less than coincidental mishaps continue to arise it becomes very clear that someone is trying to prevent this wedding from happening.

This book is told in dual point of view from Brynn and “the woman”

This is a page turning thriller that will keep you guessing. I had my fingers pointed in every direction wondering just who “the woman was”. No one was without suspicion. Eventually an unexpected twist revealed countless secrets and left my jaw ajar.

Woah. I LOVED this book! It kept me guessing and boy, was I completely wrong! Had me glued from the very first sentence! Definitely heart-pounding! I can’t wait for part 2, The Missing Bridesmaid! Adding this to my top reads of the year! I LOVE this author!

Brynn and Nathan fell in love at first sight and are about to get married and live happily ever after, or so they thought.

Someone is out to destroy and sabotage their happy union. Sending threatening notes, cancelling wedding venues, making Brynn sick. Who can it be??

So many possible suspects but, I promise you, you will not guess who it is!

So many SHOCKING moments! I could not believe Brynn’s past! The ending made me soooo mad, but in a good way!

If you love Frieda McFadden and Sally Hepworth, this one is for you!!!

I really enjoyed The Woman at My Wedding, Book #1 of the Broken Vows series. My first time reading @lgdavisauthor and I can’t wait for book #2 in this series.
A total page turner I couldn’t put down. I was gripped right from the start.

Brynn is busy organising her wedding, while her fiancé Nathan is working away on a big murder trial. When out of the blue her mother in law Debbie turns up to move in and help with the wedding preparations. And then Brynn’s plans start to unravel. Will she get her dream day?

It’s fast paced with great twists that keep you guessing. So many secrets and lies that you don’t know who to trust until a brilliant ending you don’t see coming. The story is told through multiple POV’s, alternating between Brynn and The Woman. The characters are all well written and come to life on the page.
Overall, a brilliant edge of your seat read. Psychological thriller fans will love this book. Definitely recommend.

I have been wanting to try a book by L.G. Davis for a long time, so I was excited to read this one. Well I'm definitely a fan! This book is told from dual POVs - alternating between Brynn, who is counting down the days until her wedding, and "The Woman", the person who is out to ruin her wedding and wants Brynn's fiancé for herself.

This book was fast paced and I flew through it in just a few hours. This was a great popcorn thriller that packed a punch. The timeline is told starting 30 days out from Brynn's wedding to Nathan, and as we get closer to the big day, things get more and more crazy. There were so many twists and turns! There were secrets galore, and I had no idea who to trust! I doubted everyone. This story was so unpredictable and such a wild ride! I definitely recommend!

The reveal felt perfect so far away from my own thoughts. Can't wait fir book 2. Highly recommended to anyone who like a fast paced pov mystery that will leave you wanting more.
Thank uou so much netgallery and publisher and author for this 6 star read.

The Woman at My Wedding
by L.G. Davis
Pub Date: Jun 13 2024

The Woman at My Wedding, the first book in the Broken Vows series is a fast paced psychological thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat! It had a great plot twist which I did not see coming and has me anxiously awaiting for book 2, The Missing Bridesmaid in the Broken Vows series with a publish date of 6/13/2024.

Synopsis: I’ve dreamed of this day forever. But will it be my last? My stomach flutters as I try on my shimmering wedding dress with my two closest friends. In just a few weeks I’m going to marry the man of my dreams. I can’t believe the next time Nathan sees me it’ll be when I walk down the aisle. I’ve never told him my real name, and I hate lying to him. But it’s for his own good, and nobody could love him more than me. I’ve been through so much; don’t I deserve this happiness?

Many thanks to #TheWomanatMyWedding #NetGalley & #Bookouture for providing me with an E-ARC of this book.

Thank you for having me on this tour. I really enjoyed reading this book. It kept me on my toes, and I was suspicious of everyone involved in Brynn's wedding. I hated Debbie; she irked me so much throughout the book. She feels sickly sweet and manipulative. I really enjoyed that we got to see the view of the saboteur as well, and this kept me on edge as I knew it was someone involved with the wedding but could not figure out who. Nathan and the case also made me think a lot, as we never really saw much of him, and I was very curious how this was going to link. When the link became apparent, I was shocked. If you like a book with twists and turns, I highly recommend "The Woman at My Wedding." I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
