I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.
So, for the fourth book in the series, the only thing I did not like about it was the first fifty pages or so where Auren, who's finally an interesting character to me, is basically comatose. There's also a lot of POV shifting here, so at first I was really struggling to follow along, but then I really started to appreciate it especially when we got everything happening with Rissa. I pretty much screamed at the ending with the Conflux and Queen Malina. I am ready for this Annwyn adventure. This was my favorite book so far. Like, can I have more? I'm so down for this and it's what I love about romantasy.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the ARC.
Another great installment in this series. We are able to learn even more about some of the ancillary characters and meet some new ones. An intriguing tale retelling the myth of King Midas . This book ends on such a big cliffhanger! Can't wait to continue reading this series.
The previous book ended on a massive cliffhanger, and Glow picks up the plot immediately where it left off in in the third book. This series has an "it factor" that holds my interest, but it's not without flaws. I continue to enjoy Auren's story and journey. The POVs continue to expand as the series goes on, and this has made the numerous plots more difficult to follow and takes away the focus from the main storyline. I think Kennedy would have benefited from having a strong editing team from the get-go to ensure that the story stayed tight and on-track instead of meandering and becoming unwieldy. Criticism aside, I enjoyed reading the book and am interested enough to continue reading the series. Not everyone will enjoy this book, but give it to romantasy readers looking for spice and an interesting story.
