This book was amazing and I devoured this book in just a few sittings! I loved the character development and how the story progressed.
I wanna start by saying that the perfect series is one of my favorite series ever! I absolutely adore Claudia Tan's writing!
I was a little skeptical going into the book because I absolutely despised Jax's character after reading Perfect Addiction and Perfect Ruin, but his redemption arc was AMAZING. Claudia's writing always gets me super invested in the story, and I was hooked from the beginning to the end! I fell in love with Blaire's character and her story and I think that she was such a strong female lead.
I didn't think it was possible, but the spice scenes in this book topped the scenes in the first two books for me!
I will say that the first half of the book was a bit slower for me than I would have liked, but around 200ish pages in I became lazer focused and could not put it down.
I also LOVED seeing my faves from Perfect Addiction in the epilogue, it was such a pleasant surprise, but it also made me sooooo sad that the series has come to an end.
I love Claudia Tan's books!! I read Perfect Addiction first then when I saw that Perfect Redemption was on NetGalley I had to read it too! It was nice to see Jax and get more insight to his character. You couldn't help but hate him after reading Perfect Addiction so to get more of his story and learn about why he is the way he is was nice.
This book has suspension, romance, growth and tension. It got my attention and I grown to love Jackson. I can't wait to read the next one.
This is unfortunately a soft DNF for me…
I don’t think this is a bad book per se but it is just not the book for me unfortunately. The topics it deals with aren’t what I enjoy reading and I find the lay out of the book a little confusing sometimes.
I think if only one of the characters had a heavy life event it would be a little bit easier to get through for me personally. I do understand that this could be a very good book for others ❤️
SO SAD TO SAY GOODBYE
BUT CLAUDIA NEVER DISAPPOINTS
THE PERFECT FINALE FOR A SERIES
Now i'm going back to reread the whole series again
Overall perfect redemption was good. But there were a few scenes that were slow and dragged on a bit. Jax has really come a long way and has had such amazing character growth. This book takes us on his journey of redemption and the author portrayed that in such a fun and beautiful way!
This was a slow, steamy romance about two people from completely opposite backgrounds. But somehow, Jax and Blaire find they have a lot in common! When they both need a friend, they find that they can be there for each other.
I felt this book was a terrific romance story about two opposites. I liked that take on love. I enjoyed most of it and other parts were a bit slow. Overall, I'm rating it three stars. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
"Perfect Redemption" by Claudia Tan delivers a gripping tale of redemption, love, and second chances. Set in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, the story follows Jax Deneris as he strives to leave his troubled past behind and start afresh. What struck me most about this book is the depth of its characters. Jax's journey from a flawed, troubled individual to someone striving for redemption is both poignant and inspiring. And then there's Blaire Sulivan, his fiery roommate, whose resilience and strength make her a perfect match for Jax. Their dynamic is electric, filled with tension and undeniable chemistry.
What I loved most about "Perfect Redemption" is its perfect balance of drama, humor, and romance. Tan skillfully weaves together a narrative that keeps you hooked from start to finish. And even though this book is part of a series, it can definitely be enjoyed as a standalone. Whether you're a fan of steamy romance or just enjoy a good character-driven story, "Perfect Redemption" is sure to captivate you. So, grab a copy, settle in, and prepare to be swept away by Jax and Blaire's journey towards love and redemption.

"In 'Perfect Redemption,' Claudia Tan offers readers a story filled with complex characters who grapple with their troubled pasts. The narrative follows Jax as he attempts to rebuild his life in Los Angeles after a series of mistakes. With the help of his estranged father, Baxton, Jax strives for a fresh start but finds it difficult to shed his bad habits. When he crosses paths with his new roommate, Blaire Sulivan, a fiery dynamic emerges between them. Both carrying emotional baggage and facing their own demons, Jax and Blaire are drawn to each other in ways they never anticipated.
Tan's strength lies in her ability to create multi-dimensional characters that feel real and relatable. Jax's flawed nature and Blaire's resilience make them compelling protagonists, and the development of their relationship is a highlight of the story. The slow burn between them, fueled by simmering desire and mutual healing, adds depth and emotional intensity to the narrative. This book belongs to The Perfect Series and it's the 4th installment.
