A charming and “sweet” romance. I liked the characters and the plot.
Many thanks to Forever and to NetGalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

This book was so cute. Big Sky Pie is just my favorite name for a business ever. Quint and Callee have struggled in their new marriage after his father dies and Quint loses his footing. He tells Callee to file for divorce without thinking and Callee, brokenhearted, does, leaving Montana for Seattle for cooking school. They are thrown together, however, when Quint's mother suffers a heartattack and they must come together to run Big Sky Pie. Will they make it? I can't wait to read more of this series because who doesn't love pie?

I received this book for free from NetGalley. I love books with couples that have broken up, plus there was a pie shop involved, so I decided to take a chance on this one. In the plot, Quint and Callee break up after his father dies and he spirals downward. She files for divorce and is headed out of town while he's away on a fishing trip, his mom plays matchmaker, gets them to take over her new pie shop as a ploy to get them back together. The book was okay and I loved all of the pie descriptions, but for whatever reason, I couldn't connect to the characters. Also, the timeline seemed totally off to me. After they are separated, he leaves for just 30 days on a fishing trip, by the time he comes back, she's filed for divorce, his mom has completely renovated his office and turned it into a pie shop, and he's lost all his customers - this didn't make sense to me, that so much could happen in just 30 days. . Overall, a decent although forgettable read with yummy pie descriptions.
