I liked this book. It had the fun task of pronouncing pasta names and some of them are pretty long! There was a page in the back that had all of the pronunciations.
I liked incorporating Italian into it and the variety of pasta mentioned, because I think it's good cultural exposure for kids and families.
Pasta! These Words Are Fun To Say! is a children’s book written by Felice Arena and illustrated by Beatrice Cerrochi. This book features different children and different types of pastas, specifically pastas that are fun to say. I really enjoyed this book, and I think it will will be loved by preschool and younger elementary students, who will enjoy the fun illustrations and trying to say the names of the different pastas. Thank you to the publisher, author, illustrator, and to NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
A fun rhyming book that teaches children how to pronounce the different types of pasta. I had no idea there were so many! I will definitely be recommending this book.

As a pasta lover, this book is great! Love that it discusses all the kinds of pasta (there are so many). The illustrations are cute! Loved the pronunciation inclusion at the end if the book. And this book definitely makes you hungry for some pasta
PASTA! This gives "toddler coffee book" vibes and I love it. Tiny chefs will love hearing all the different pasta names. We'll be adding this to our collection for our toddler's kitchen play area!
As an Italian-American with little kids, I really liked this book. The illustrations are amazing, and the pasta names really are fun to say! I was hoping for a little more plot, but overall super cute.
(4/5 stars) This book is so cute! I love all the different types of pasta included in the book and I can imagine turning this book into a cute little song as a bedtime story. The art style and composition is so fun. I wish that each page had showed all of the specific types of pasta it referenced or that there was a bit of plot, but overall a cute book that would be fun to share with your carb-loving toddler.
First off, am I the only person alive who didn't know there were a bazillion different types of pasta? I love it when a children's book is fun to read but also educational, and this one helps us old folks learn something new too. The illustrations are colorful and eye-catching, and I love the rhyming and play on words throughout the story. I know our littlest library patrons would get a huge kick out of this book. I would recommend it to everyone.
Not my favorite. It felt like very little storytelling - only listing different pasta names. While I understand the sentiment it didn’t feel like it made a story.
