Poor Little Dead Girls has the makings for a great book. Boarding School. Secret Society of the rich and powerful. Murder mystery. Extravagant parties and ceremonies. A hot guy. There's even a little English nobility thrown in to boot. All revolving around our MC Sadie Marlowe who is neither rich nor powerful. While this book does not reach greatness, it is good and I believe you'll find this to be a decent book if nothing else. The suspense and thrill doesn't come into full effect til the end of the book, but I can say that there are a few revelations that you probably won't see coming. Though some are obvious.
Oh, this was another awesome mystery book! This one had a school setting so that was a lot of fun to read, dark academia had a pretty big wave of interest this year, so that was great! I had a great time watching this story unfold!
My one thing about this book was that the writing style was a bit stilted, wasn't the most enjoyable to read. I really enjoyed the story and the characters, but the writing slowed me down a little bit. Which was too bad, but otherwise I had a good time with this book!
I don't know why hazing still happens. Well, I understand, but given how often there are stories of it going wrong, adults really should be doing a better job of keeping it in check, at the very least. It wouldn't be as exciting, but it'd be safer.
Some of the reveals were really shocking. That what she was put through, that she didn't know, that was just horrible. I did wish that there could've been something that shut down the group, or weakened it or something, but alas!
This was a really great mystery, and I had a really great time reading it!
This book was requested when I was young and requested more books than I could possibly read. Sadly, I no longer have access to this book and my tastes have changed. Thus I will not be able to give feedback on this title.
I unfortunately was not able to read this book. I was excited when ever I had chosen to download or pick this book up on Netgalley. However, time moves by so quickly and I never got to read it.
Unfortunately, this one just wasn't a good fit for me. I love the premise, but I didn't click with the story, so I won't be reviewing it.
