I loved this book so much! Everything you want in a weekend romance. Overcoming hard things, working together, secrets, PTSD, and overcoming obsticles. All the good stuff is there.

Finally Found My Cowboy by A.J. Pine was a predictable romance with a few twists along the way. The story was well told and the characters were relatable.

I loved this book. It is not my first AJ Pine, and definitely won't be my last. The spice level was great, the romance was well developed and it just overall made me happy.

This voice actor was amazing for this audio.
I struggled to get into the story line at first, but I love horses, so Midnight made me stay. I needed to hear her story. However, I loved the ending to Beth and Eli’s story, just as much as Midnight’s story.

4.5⭐️
Beth finally gets a shot at her dream job, auditioning for the Radio City Rockets, until she falls during her audition and ends up with an injury that could be the end of her dancing career. To get her out of her apartment Beth’s sister, Delaney, flies her to Meadow Valley, California and sets her up with a job managing Eli’s veterinary clinic. Eli is a widow and will not let anyone in, but his attraction to Beth is making it hard for him to stay away.
You’ll like Finally Found My Cowboy if you like:
-dual pov
-cowboy romance
-forced proximity
-small town
-grumpy x sunshine
-fade to black 🌶 but super steamy
CW: animal death (I’ve never sobbed so much a work before lol)
I loved this book, LOVED! No notes, this was perfect. I don’t think I need to say more, just read it. Narration for both POV’s was by Zura Johnson and they did an excellent job! This is book two in The Murphys of Meadow Valley series. I read this without reading the first book and did not have an issue following the story. Can be read as a standalone.
Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an advanced audio copy for an honest review.

This was so cute. I loved it. The characters, world building and story telling were great. It kept me interested and involved.

"Finally Found My Cowboy" is a sweet, small-town romance that features two wounded people.
Beth's career as a dancer is on the line after a severe injury that may just mean she can no longer dance professionally.
Eli is still reeling from the loss of his wife and her horse during a botched robbery three years earlier.
When they are thrown together by Beth's meddling sister, sparks fly, and not in the good kind of way. But as walls come down and understanding increases, they start to wonder if perhaps they were both right where they should have been all along.
I really enjoyed this story as the main characters weighed their fears and desires to carve out a life that worked for them.
Thanks to A.J. Pine, Dreamscape Media, and NetGalley for an advance review copy.

Finally Found My Cowboy is the second book in A. J. Pine’s Murphy’s of Meadow Valley series. Professional dancer Beth Spence has earned an opportunity to audition for the Radio City Music Hall Rockets but in a freak accident she has suffered damage to her Achilles tendon which could have catastrophic consequences to her dance career. As Beth heals, her sister, Delaney Callahan, invites her to come to Meadow Valley, CA, the small town where her sister has settled with her husband Sam and young daughter.
What Delaney doesn’t tell Beth is that she has arranged for her sister to work for local veterinarian and widower Eli Murphy and live in one of the cottages on the Murphy ranch. Delaney had planned to explain all of this when she picked her sister up from the airport, but then her daughter takes ill and Eli goes in her stead.
Awaiting Beth and holding a sign with Beth’s name, Eli stands at baggage claim to meet her and take her back to the ranch. Not clicking when they meet, it isn’t until the next day as Beth begins her temporary job that the two begin to bond after the demise of one of Eli’s longtime patients. As the two become more comfortable with each other, Boone Murphy, Eli’s brother adds another horse to the rescue, stirring up too many memories for Eli, who lost his wife when thieves tried to take a horse looking just like this one, killing both horse and rider. With Beth’s insistence on learning to ride the horse as part of her exercise therapy, Eli is overwhelmed by his loss, which somehow forges a deeper connection between the two.
This is a very well plotted story addressing loss, grief, challenges, and new beginnings. I did enjoy this book and do recommend it.

The sweet story of Eli and Beth is the second book in The Murphys of Meadow Valley. However, I have not read the previous book, but the author does the reader a service by allowing you to jump in. The character and scene descriptions really pull you in and help you feel like you are standing in the middle of the story as you are listening. There are highs and lows to this love story, and I was very surprised, in a good way, of the ending.
The audio/narration was a little slow for me, and did not pull me in as much as fast as I had hoped.
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to the audiobook and review this book.

I could not get into this. The narrating is good. I just can not get invested in the story. I also think that the relationship wasn't believable.

A cute romance with a story about changing your dreams. It’s relatable because there are so many of us that go through something that ends up changing our outlook or, more, changing the plan we thought we had for our life. This one is that latter with some big life changes but with a hunky cowboy thrown in who could complain about that.

Finally Found My Cowboy, book 2 in the Murphy’s of Meadow Valley by A.J. Pine. I just finished the book so when I say I love Eli Murphy anyone who is Reddit knows why not just because he’s a great cowboy a caring veterinarian a wounded man in one also hesitant to Love well he’s hesitant but not when it comes to his horses and the animals he cares for. When Beth comes to stay while waiting for her next chance in New York it is right after Eli gets a new wounded horse name midnight The horse was traumatized and he thought it was going to take a while but soon he learns with him and the horse all it’s going to take is a little more a Beth. When I started reading this book I stopped on chapter 4 and downloaded the first one because I knew I was going to love it as much as I was loving Eli and Beth‘s story and I was not wrong. The only negative I had was despite the narrator had a pleasant voice I don’t know why I just couldn’t comfortably listen to it although I got used to it in my opinion is usually not a common one don’t take my word for it these are really good books and whether you listen on audio or read it on Kindle like me you will want to finish it it is that good. I have never read a book by A J Pine before but sign me up I am definitely down to read another especially book 3 of the Murphy’s of Meadow Valley. Can I just say how much I loved the ending of this book there’s action romance Love family friendship and so much more this is a great book and a great Siri‘s. I want to thank dreamscape media for my free art copy via NetGalley please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

I really enjoyed this book! The romance was sweet but realistic. I really look forward to reading more from this author!

In "Finally Found My Cowboy" by A.J. Pine, narrated by Zura Johnson, readers are taken on a heart-warming journey of healing and new beginnings. The book is the second instalment in "The Murphys of Meadow Valley" series and is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a good romance novel.
The story follows Beth, a talented dancer whose career is put on hold due to a torn Achilles. She travels to the small town where her sister Delaney lives, to recover and finds herself working with Eli, a grumpy yet charming veterinarian. Though initially disappointed, Beth soon discovers that Eli is just the person she needs to help her heal and move forward.
What follows is a beautiful and touching romance between two people who are perfect for each other. Eli helps Beth see that her dreams are worth pursuing, even in the face of adversity, while Beth helps Eli break out of his rut and rediscover the joys of life.
Overall, "Finally Found My Cowboy" is a superbly crafted novel that expertly explores themes of healing, love, and self-discovery. It is a must-read or listening-to story for anyone looking for a heartwarming and uplifting story. The narrated by Zura Johnson does a great job of bringing the character alive for our listening pleasure.

I read A.J. Pine's Finally Found My Cowboy as a standalone and it works just fine. Though I have to say, now I really want to read Holding Out for a Cowboy and find out Casey and Boone's story.
My heart went out to Beth, with her injury sidelining her dreams. She's so disappointed, but digs deep and overcomes her issues. And Eli is just so sweet and charming. It's a lovely romance.
The audio version of Finally Found My Cowboy is performed by Zura Johnson.

This was such a cozy read! I was looking for a book that would make me feel warm and fuzzy and this was it. Both characters are working through loss and I just love the way the FMC brings out the best in the MMC. Was it cheesy? Yes. Was it Probable? No. In the real world would I ever match those two together? No. Was it still everything I wanted in a cozy sappy romance? Absolutely yes. The audio narration was really well done as well.

Happy pub day (yesterday)! I got this ALC from the publisher yesterday and read this so fast. Eli is freaking SWOONY and both characters go through so much growth.
Eli is what every woman wants in a broody rancher who is SO protective of his people! (Well, he's mostly what Beth wants minus the telling her what to do part LOL). I loved that Beth had someone to support her when she felt so hopeless in her own life. Also her sister was so fun (I discovered Delaney's book is a previous in a cross-over series).
I LOVE a good ranch setting and this one didn't disappoint, especially when the characters go to their special, secluded spot on the property.
The narrator did a great job with this one. I never struggled to keep conversations straight and the inflections were wonderfully done.

This is a Cowboy Romance, and this is part of The Murphys of Meadow Valley series. I have read the other books in this series before picking up this book. I got pulled into this book right away, and I really loved the characters in this book. This book was so much fun to read, and I had a great time reading it. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

Beth, a Vegas showgirl, is injured during the audition of a lifetime with the Rockettes. Tired of her moping around by herself, her sister moves her to the small town she lives to stay with her family while she recovers. What she doesn’t tell Beth is that she will be staying in the guest house of the brooding animal vet, Eli, and working in his office. Eli, still grieving the loss of his wife and her tragic death, doesn’t need to be babysitting some big city dancer. But from the moment he meets Beth he knows she is different and feels connected to her.
I really enjoyed this audiobook and the narrator! This was a small town, cowboy, insta love romance, but the insta love was more within their thoughts and inner dialogue. I’m honestly not a fan of that trope and I feel like this story could have done without that and been fine. This story deals with grief in a lot of forms-loss of a loved one, survivors guilt, and the potential loss of a life dream or goal. There are some heavy parts for sure but I feel like it was balanced out nicely with lighter scenes and spice! Even though this is the 2nd book in a series it felt like a standalone. Definitely recommend it if you enjoy small town, cowboy romances! Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review!
I do want to mention that there is a scene on the page of a dog being put to sleep. Please check content warnings before reading.

CW: Pet Death, Grief, Loss
One of the tricky things about ARC reading and reading new releases is that we don't always get the content warnings from other readers - so a heads up that there's some heavy topics in this romance novel! Overall though, I would highly recommend Finally Found My Cowboy. We follow Beth after an injury that may end her dance career and Eli, a hot animal vet and horse rehabber with his own ghosts.
I loved how realistic and honest the characters felt, and when things got steamy... they got pretty steamy! Enjoy!
