An adorable board book for toddlers to help learn words and a bedtime routine. The focus of the pictures is on the babies - they use real people in the pictures and the background is very basic. While its not the most beautiful of illustrations, the focus is on the words and getting baby to interact with the book. Visually, I like how the focus words are in different colors and in a speech bubble to help the caregiver place the emphasis on the right word. It is easy to follow along and a comforting book to read before bed. At the end is a note on how to use the book which is super helpful for caregivers to learn how this book works and how you can adjust based on your babies development.

I love the rhythm and routine of this book as well as the real life photos paired with the illustrations. Stephanie Cohen is an expert in her field and this book is a great resource.

Amazing book! It was so perfect that this book goes through a bedtime routine. It both helps kids learn about routines and getting ready for bed, and it assists kids in learning how to use basic words. It was written with simple words that kids will be able to pronounce (or try to) and is no doubt the ultimate bedtime baby book. It's fun, but it is also educational. Lastly, the short bit at the end will definitely equip parents will tactics, tools, and techniques they can use to promote the forming of words. These tips are easy to understand and use, and will be so, so helpful to parents and babies alike.
Bravo!

I love this board book! It's full of simple words that I use every day with my toddler. I love how it re-enforces those words as part of a bedtime book. It is perfect if your tot is repeating words. The real baby pictures are a lot of fun too because my toddler can point out the baby on the page. For us, this is a great fit.

Thank you, Sourcebooks Kids, for an advanced reader's copy.
