I love Hamish Macbeth novels. They are light and sweet. Not too real. This one had much more violence than I remember in the others. I hope this does not become a trend. Lots of twists, very entertaining. Graeme Malcolm is a wonderful reader.

I like this series but it seems to becoming a little stale. Love the setting and Hamish but I am glad this is the last book in the series.

Oh how I love M.C. Beaton books. Best mystery writer I've had the pleasure of reading. I keep forgetting how good these books are. I need to go back and start with the beginning of the series.
