Could have been so much better. It's not a bad book, but it does capitalize on Gone Girl to an extent where there weren't any real surprises. I have read other better books by this author.

I must say that I was shocked by how much I enjoyed this read. It sucked me in very quickly and left my mouth hanging open at the end with a real shocker ending. I love when a book can pleasantly surprise me with being better than anticipated and Ms. Durrant's book really pulled that off.

Character development was thorough and enough twists occurred to keep me on my toes. I would definitely recommend this book.
