"Don't you realize that silence weighs heavier than a thousand words."
Medea is a bad bitch. Period. She's a mix of Navier from Remarried Empress and Teryll from I wasn't Cinderella. The first two opening chapters or episodes as they are called, sets up how many steps ahead she is in her plan for revenge. She will stop at nothing to make sure she claims her rightful throne even when her plan goes amiss. I'm enjoying seeing both sides of the body switch and how it's affecting both women. Only issue I had really is that I prefer the scroll edition of the webtoon version. It just reads better to me.

I loved the story. The author's rendition of Lady Media Solon as the villain was excellent and I was engrossed in her every move. The main and supporting character traits were well-developed, keeping the reader's attention. One of the main story themes is focused on the two characters Media and Psyche's bodies getting switched. The crown prince towards the beginning of the story expects so little in intelligence from his fiancee who is the villain because of the switched bodies. Toss in some jealousy, cultural norms for the period, murder, and deception give the reader an itch for what is next feels. Highly suggest this series to like-minded readers who want an exciting novel in Korean graphics.

Lady Medea and Lady Psyche switch bodies, but they are essentially the polar opposite of each other. While that doesn’t really affect one, has the other struggling. Lady Medea is a genius, calculating, and a master swordsman. Lady Psyche on the other hand doesn’t seem to be able to read all that well, and is physically weak. She is what she puts out, nothing about her seems fake. While Lady Medea is 10 steps ahead of everyone, I am not and need the next part soon. No one is what they seem, I thought it would be good vs evil where you could easily tell who is who, but that wasn’t what happened. The villain turned out to be who you didn’t even think about, (they were too stereotypical) I didn’t even give them a second thought. I want to see more of Medea’s backstory as well as Psyche, it seems like we know almost nothing about her until she debuted into society. I enjoyed this a lot and can’t wait for the next part to come out. Thank you NetGalley and Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group for giving me this book in exchange for an honest review.

4/5! 🌟🌟🌟🌟
We love a badass FMC.
Medea was supposed to marry the powerful Crown Prince, Eros, but he instead chooses another woman, Psyche. Medea is seen as the 'villainess', while sweet Psyche plays her role as Ero's soon to be bride. Fueled by jealousy, Medea wishes she could switch places with Psyche and they end up switching bodies. Upon switching bodies, we see both women getting a glimpse of each other's lives and scheming together in the best way possible.
The art style was gorgeous and I loved the dark vibes this gave off. I will definitely be looking for the next volume.
Thank you to Netgalley for this arc!

Okay so when I first read the first chapter on webtoon this story didn't seem it was up my alley. Especially since Medea seems like such a hard person to root for.
It turns out the body swap between Madea and Psyche was a way for them to get to know each other and also solve each others problems. I can't wait to have more volumes out! The story for this is a lot different then other webtoons in this genre and I can't wait to see how it plays out.
This is for people who are interested in a retelling of Medea and Psyche and also for people like me who are obsessed with webtoons that have some type of body switch at play.

4.5 rounded down for some awkward art at times.
Are you tired of stereotypical villainess stories and want something a little more exciting? Your Throne is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers on that front. Nothing and no one is who they seem, and the slow reveal of the truth of Medea, Psyche, and Eros' relationships is very strong. Yes, the names are loaded, but pay attention to first and family names, because that's a major hint in putting the pieces together. This may not be perfect, but it's a welcome dark breeze in its genre, and I fervently hope to see the monsters get what they deserve.

I’m so excited that this webtoon is finally getting a physical release! I was an avid reader of this series when it first came out. This story has such an engaging premise in the first couple of chapters and I hope it does well as a graphic novel.
However, I will admit the writing of this story can feel disjointed and at some times frustrating, well this doesn’t destroy this novel for me - it makes it challenging to truly enjoy the premise.

I have been keeping up with this story on Webtoons and happy to be able to read it here too!
This is a deliciously dark story
Posts of secrets, plotting, and political strife in a royal like setting.
Lots of murder and romantic longing!

A story of royalty, betrayals, death and drama.
The story begins at a turning point. At Crown Prince Eros’ engagement to Lady Psyche, Last Medea finds herself being ridiculed after having lost her rightful place next to the Crown Prince. Overcome by anger, Lady Medea begins to act out her revenge only to switch places with Lady Psyche. Now as the Crown Princess in a body not hers, she unravels darker truths and plots.
The plot is interesting, almost like a game of chess. At first, it was confusing because there is no context behind each character’s action and reaction. However as the story unfolds, so does the past and the truths. Things change without notice and pawns are relieved without grief as needed. This story isn’t for the faint of heart because bloodshed, cold ruthless demeanor and madness are close relatives of this story.
It’s hard to say much about the characters but there is also so much I want to say. There are currently four main characters that are the focal point of this story; Lady Medea, Lady Psyche, Crown Prince Eros’ and Marquess Helio. Neither of them have a good personality because they are each twisted in their own way. Their pasts have been very unkind, riddled with abuse, abandonment, loneliness, and despair. These events and emotions have most likely molded our characters. However, I feel like the switch between Lady Medea and Lady Psyche will benefit them both and allow them to grow where they are lacking.
The artwork is beautiful. It stays on theme more often than not, representing bright colors for Lady Psyche in warm backgrounds, whereas using dark colors in cold backgrounds for Lady Medea. This volume is very colorful and doesn’t shy away from using different tones. The only issue with this volume is the panel placements. I felt the placement was odd and lacking for smaller panels, sometimes leaving more than half a page blank. Other times, the panels spread across the full page but ruined the suspense of the scene.
Overall, I enjoyed reading this but I also felt overwhelmed. There was so much happening in the first volume, that I wondered if maybe the execution of the story could have been done better. There is a lot of mystery in this story, given we haven’t been given many background details and I feel like it will not be unraveled anytime soon. In the end I can only say, do not judge any character too quickly while reading this series.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for gifting me this eARC in exchange of an honest review.
Honestly it’s just so good! I love love love the WEBTOON and I’m so excited to finally have it in a physical copy!!

This may be an unpopular opinion but I just didn't vibe with this story that much. I found it hard to get into. The main plot was too dark for my taste but there were definitely twists and turns that kept me reading. The art was beautiful and disturbing at the same time. The art fit really well with this story and it was all well put together.

Very interesting! Quick read that leaves you wanting more! Would definitely recommend to those who enjoy webtoon comics

Quick read book but at times it felt pretty repetitive and boring. All in all it was a good first volume and the characters seemed intriguing. Maybe I’ll read the second volume if I hear it gets better

I enjoyed reading volume 1!
The beginning was intriguing because of the body switch. One who is scorned from being a "villainess" and the other is a crown princess, married to the prince. When they switched, their lives changed and more secrets began to get revealed.
I finished it wanting to know what happened next!

I started reading this a while back as a WEBTOON and I’m so excited to see it being published as a physical book!
This graphic novel is a definite be careful what you wish for story. Lady Medea and Lady Psyche are two very different women. Both in love with the Prince, both with different personalities and motivations. They switch bodies after Medea infiltrates a sacred prayer ceremony that only Psyche is supposed to attend. What follows is elation for the former Medea and despair for the former Psyche.
The actual plot once you get into the switcheroo is wiiiild! So many twists and turns and people being completely different from who you thought they were. It’s interesting and gripping and was a lot of fun to read.
Definitely would recommend!

4.75/5
This graphic novel is WILD. There were so many twists and turns in this book I kept getting whiplash in a good way. I wasn’t expecting some of the things that happened to happen in this book.
Lady Medea Solon was supposed to marry Price Eros but someone else she was kind of close to did instead. But obviously she wants her revenge. In this first book you learn back story on a lot of the characters which explains why they grew up to the way they are. You also learn a lot of people’s intentions are not what they seem. I can’t spoil anything because it’s so good!
If you like mystery, princes and princesses, and revenge you will enjoy this book as much as I did.

Just as dark and twisted as the webtoon itself. This story is not for lighthearted readers. For those looking for a dark story with lots of gore and no holding back, this is the story for you.

This is one of my favourite webtoons, so I obviously liked the content, but I don't see why you would ever read it like this rather than on the webtoon app unless you want to collect the novels physically. There aren't a lot of changes made, and what it changes isn't necessarily for the better. The font was changed which I didn't really mind (though the question marks look weird), and the panels had to be adapted to fit on the pages which were questionably done at times (the flow and pacing of the story were hindered by this format). All in all, love the webtoon, but there is no reason for this to be more than a webtoon.

A somewhat spooky take with body-swaps! A "resekai" (reincarnation isekai) with the villainess and all that jazz. It was pretty standard fare with gorgeous artwork.
I'm not sure where this is gonna go, honestly.
It's so refreshing to see the villainous main character go for exactly what she needs/wants!!
I've read a lot of reincarnated isekai and this one was a delight to read!

An interesting take on typical fantasy romance webtoons! The female protagonist and antagonist in the initial plotline switch bodies and vying for the crown ensues thereafter. Initial perspectives from each character are gradually changed with each nuance. I'm interested in how the rest of the plot will play out!
