**Book Review: *American Gunner 2: Civil Liberties* by Eddy Clark and D. Andrea Whitfield**

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5 Stars)

*American Gunner 2: Civil Liberties* is a thrilling sequel that delivers high-stakes action, intrigue, and complex characters. Eddy Clark and D. Andrea Whitfield craft an engaging story that keeps readers hooked from start to finish.

The novel follows Raphael, a former criminal turned family man, as he is pulled back into a dangerous world when CIA agent Rhys recruits him for a high-risk mission. The target: Abaku, a ruthless mastermind behind financial crimes and wire fraud schemes. As Raphael navigates deadly confrontations and moral dilemmas, he must protect his loved ones while taking down a powerful enemy.

The book excels in its fast-paced storytelling, vivid action sequences, and well-developed characters. Raphael is a compelling protagonist, balancing his dark past with his desire for a better future. The tension is well-crafted, and the stakes feel real, making it easy to get lost in the story.

However, at times, the plot can feel a bit predictable, with some familiar crime-thriller tropes. Additionally, certain side characters could have been given more depth to make the story even more immersive.

Overall, *American Gunner 2* is a solid read for fans of action-packed thrillers. While it doesn’t completely reinvent the genre, it delivers plenty of excitement and intrigue, making it well worth a four-star rating. If you enjoy fast-paced crime fiction with a strong lead character, this book is definitely worth picking up!
