Five years ago Quaid (Q) and Jessica were newlyweds working together as firefighters when tragedy struck and Q was killed in a chemical explosion. Fast forward and a grief stricken Jess is working as a lobbyist in Washington when her ex team-mates come to tell her that they think Q is alive and being held prisoner in a top secret government facility. He has been used a a guinea pig and experimented on so they can find out more about his powers.

The story then progresses with the lovers reunited but finding it hard to adapt as Quaid has lost his memory. Along the way there is danger, intrigue, political treachery and some great steamy scenes with some great emotive writing.

Great paranormal romance. Another winner for Ms Swan.

loved this series by Joan Swan. A perfect blend of suspense and paranormal.
